Did they censor some of the dialing tones from Rorie's phone?
I don't want to call Norm, but if they didn't, someone with the will could still get that number from the stream by listening to the push tones when Rorie dialed. I don't think anybody in the community would do so, but I can't vouch for the internet at large. Just a thought.
PS: Don't call Norm.
The GB community is usually pretty chill about interacting with people outside of GB that have appeared on GB content. But this video is also going up on YouTube, and I can't vouch for that community.
There's already an image of Norm's software collection on the Internet, so I'd imagine people have already gotten a hold of his number much easier than listening to and parsing out a dial tone on a GB video.
@sneakypenguins yeah, I can count, but it kinda seems like it goes 1, 2, multi in a cultural sense. Tekken and friends have way less in common with goldeneye, PUBG, halo, and Eve than those four do with each other.
In terms of video game vernacular, "multiplayer" refers to competing or co-operating with one other person or more. Because on the other hand you have "single-player." There isn't a "duo-player." 2 player is considered multiplayer, and for fighting games, it's either single player or competitive (multiplayer.)
Even outside of fighting games, Hearthstone is considered multiplayer when you're playing against someone else. Quake Rocket Arena was the most popular multiplayer mode in an FPS for a while, and that was also 1 vs. 1.
WIth Jason out of the office there was never going to be a big studio stream from the west, not sure why people were expecting one. I'm excited for this weekend and who knows maybe we get a couple of bonus ones in the coming weeks as we did with Brad and Jeff last year.
Probably because they've been doing studio streams with Ben Pack at the studio controls for weeks now. Granted there have been technical difficulties, but Ben resolves them quickly.
