I liked this movie. I thought Olyphant did a decent job too. Also, the way he got a conscience wasn't really a big deal, especially after the organization betrayed him. I do think there should have been a short intro where it showed him doing some creative assassinations like in the game though. That would have been fun to see in live action, and it would have tied the game in more.

I wish everyone would stop hating on this movie. I made it on my TI-83.

@whatisdelicious: I'm in the same boat as you. After seeing the tedious slog that was that boss fight, I just don't know if I should even bother. I was pretty excited for this game too, especially since it was free on PS4.

It's always good to see some love for DmC: Devil May Cry. I also love that game. It's a shame the whining fanboys probably succeeded in ensuring we never get a sequel.

To anyone looking to get this, it has massive optimization issues. If you are one of the unlucky ones, like myself, to have constant frame drops, it is going to be unplayable. I would wait until the devs release some more patches. Even people with dual or even triple GTX Titans are having trouble with this game. Just head over to the Steam forums to check it out. I have an i5 3570K and a Radeon HD 7850, and it was basically unplayabe until I altered some settings in the INI files, as the devs only give you 4 graphics settings.

I'm not really into trading card games in terms of actually playing them, but I do have a lot of appreciation for the artwork and like seeing the different styles of the different games. This seems to be no exception. The artwork on these cards looks pretty damn good. The corpse crawler in particular caught my eye. Not only that, but it looks like all the cards have three different versions of the same card depending on their level, which shows the time and effort put into the artwork.

That having been said, I'll probably never play this, but if I ever decided to, it would probably be just to see all the different artwork on the cards.

The main problem seems to be the fact that the developers, more or less, shot themselves in the foot by making some of the choices they did, namely the look of the female characters. It doesn't really bother me. It just doesn't do anything for the game. The nun laying down sprawled out on her back was just weird and seemed out of place, not to mention the gigantic breasts on the sorceress. I like me some giggly lady parts just as much as the next guy, but there more comically large than anything which just seems pointless other than to alienate people from buying the game. These changes, along with some others, would have made the game far less polarizing. It's unfortunate, but many of the choices made were to the detriment of the game and not to it's benefit, especially since it seems like a pretty good game. And the overall look of it is fantastic.

So is it possible to actually play solo through the whole game on all difficulties (New Game+)? I am considering buying this, but being forced to play with AI controlled characters is a huge deterrent for me on a game like this. It's basically guaranteed that I won't buy it if I can't play it by myself. I'm just a not a fan of playing hack 'n slash sidescrollers like this with other player, human or otherwise.

I'm watching this while eating a plateful of christmas cookies. No worries here.
