Games that I've earnt platinum trophies on!

So I'm an XBOX360 owner who recently jumped the fence and bought a PS3, mainly so that I could enjoy the gaming juggernaut that is Uncharted 2.

Just like with achievements, I've gone a bit nuts with the trophy hunter thing, and I'm desperately trying to catch up to my friends who have had their PS3s for far longer.

Here's a list of the games that I've earnt the elusive platinum trophy on, hopefully it will grow as I play more and more great games!

List items

  • My very first PS3 game and my first platinum trophy, I honestly think it's one of the best games I have ever played.

  • After playing the sequel I decided to go back and see where all the fun began. This platinum was WAY harder than Uncharted 2!

  • With the help of a friend who knew his way around Spec Ops I managed to get my platinum about a week and a half after I got the game. The Veteran playthrough was BRUTAL, and this game is probably my hardest platinum to date.

  • I imported a copy of the God of War Collection (as it didn't get released in Australia) and quickly earnt the platinum for God of War I. The challenge mode was a bitch, but all in all this was a really fun game to beat.

  • I followed my platinum in God of War quickly by playing the longer (and far superior) sequel. The Challenge of the Titans had me pulling out my hair yet again, but eventually I overcame the difficulty to score my 5th platinum. Cant wait for God of War 3!!!

  • A very very straight-forward platinum, took me just under 18 hours to snag it.

  • Easily took the longest time out of any of my platinums. A hell of a lot of fun, and one of the best co-op games I've played in recent years.

  • Only took me about 10 hours to get this platinum, couldn't be easier, considering you can play the entire game on the easiest difficulty! I started by beating it on normal difficulty and just enjoying the game, then going back for clean-up.

  • Ugh... I hated this stupid game, and I really regret buying it. It runs really bad on the PS3 and for an action-adventure it can't escape the shadow of better games in the genre (like Ninja Gaiden). Took me a bit over 20 hours to snag my platinum.
