Wellp, all things considered I honestly would understand if they decided against doing the QL entirely. I know I personally am requesting a refund just based on what I've learned here. I understand people might find these issues varying degrees of important but they're important to me and I see why they could be to GB.
Ori and the Blind Forest. Hands down. First of all I'm an animation nerd and Ori is one of the most gorgeous games I have seen in my life. I think there's really something to be said about a game that puts you in a place that you actually want to be. I get a lot more enjoyment out of that than I would if it was some non-descript "8-bit" dungeon jumper with the same mechanics.
I think this is a really subjective choice for me and I don't expect a lot of people to agree. I don't much like chess style games of strategy and planning. I like my games to translate my input 1-to-1 into feedback immediately. I like Mario and Zelda. I just like how that feels and Ori does it phenomenally well. It's like what you would get if you took Super Metroid and spent 10 years breaking down every animation and made sure there wasn't a single frame where you weren't in total control of your character. It's pure polish.
Wait there was no "Appear Offline" option already? I don't understand how developers don't see that as a standard required feature for these things. Like, battle.net STILL doedn't have that and they've had a thread about it on their support forum for (I just checked) 3 years.
I tried applying to one that asked for a GB themed request. I said "Police State Roy's Boys snakesnakesnakesnake.com yo let me in" but got rejected. I don't know how to make it more GB related.
Hello! I've listened to the podcast and watched videos on the site for years so I figured it was only fair to get a premium membership. In doing so I also got an account finally. So now I'm here.
I play mostly PC, Android, and 3DS. Uh I also sometime do art for games. I'm currently helping my friends do the art for an unannounced indie board game they're making but I've also helped with some Video Games in the past.
I'm currently playing Black Desert Online and listening to Raccoo-oo-oon. I'd be interested in joining a clan for Clash Royale before everyone gets bored of it.
