@Skytylz: that was what i was thinking, but i thought it be better to consult with some who actually played both games hence the topic xD. i ve never played any of the two but i think mk would be a better party game as well, at least that the impression that i have.
@SoldierG654342: in a perfect world he would xD unfortunately both me and my girlfriend are pitchin and can only afford one game ( we r both studying at university, with no regular income. so most of any earned money goes for that objective).

heyyy guys can you pls give me an opinion on which you would buy as a birthday present. personally i think i would prefer motral kombat 9 (due to the gritty graphic, i think that would make more appealing for him, however having never played either of the games themselves i would appreciate any opinions especially on gameplay) but i dont know and would prefer if i could listen to some honest opinions before making a decision. btw the recipient of the present is an 18 yr old boy I dont think he's got any fighting games so I though it would be a good idea if i were to buy one of the above mentioned games for him, as in he would get the chance to experience a different style of game without having to risk his own money, (if renting comes to mind I live in malta there are no rental shops here :/). So I appreciate any posts and any helpful comments thxxxx from before hand.

from my experience its when you do something for the first that its difficult, the more you do it the easier it comes. letting a killer live, only risks him killing someone else so yes, someone who kills in cold blood should be killed for the safety of society as a whole.
hmm sounds reasonable though ... i mean you dont have to pay an extra sum each yr jus to have online, like the xbox i mean buying a $60 game and then having to pay another $50 each yr to play it again? ... if you dont want the extra stuff than dont subscribe to it...
you could just accept the fact that there are people you like are people you hate ... maybe what you could is instead of typing a certain comment you just say it loud ... people your making fun off on the internet will never have a clue, and you still get the kicks of having passed a remark ... or simply accept the fact that everyones different, and whether we want to accept make fun of other people's differences is fun ... sometimes you do it to others, sometimes others do it to you. for me, the most effective thing is to learn to laugh towards comments others make to you as much as you laugh when you make comments towards others. never take yourself too seriously, whatever difference it doesnt make you special its the ability to accept those differences that does.
Final note: if a guy cant laugh at his own misgivings ... mehh the better to laugh at than xD
