@slinkdickens: Agreed on the stale idea thing. GB is a personality-based website, not the old Gamespot "arbiter of games" style of coverage; the idea that a 2020 Top 10 has to be comprised of 2020 games is dumb. If they played it in 2020 it should count, at least for their personal Top 10s.
@haz_kaj: Where did you get the idea they disliked W3 as a whole? Brad even went out of his way to mention how much of a good time he had sith the game until he fell off. It was low on the top 10 because nobody got through it.
Was both slightly disappointing, and a much better presentation than I was expecting, if that makes any sense. Aside from Ratchet (which still had disguised loading screens, short ones but infinitely more than the claimed zero, I was getting sick of that dimension transition by the end of the trailer) nothing really showed off why the PS5 is the "most exciting hardware in 20 years."
It would be super jarring in gameplay if Ratchet just appeared in another area without a transition, to be fair. And let's not pretend those loads wouldn't have been way longer on PS4. That's a lotta level to load that quickly; obviously not zero, but they're hitting the spirit of the law for me, at least.
As a Canadian, I didn't realize how much the American spelling of "judgement" bothered me until I saw the spelling in the main menu's title. Normally I just insert the "e" as I read the word in text and never actually notice but that logo is actually annoying me with its missing "e".
