Games Played in 2012
I'm not saying I'll beat these games, or that I even like them, but I played them dammit. Obviously, a work in progress.

Beat in on 1/14. Mostly 2012 was playing all the DS stuff (kind of garbage) and defeating Lavos (yay!). Maybe there will be a NG+ sometime this year, but that is TBD.
Even if I had taken some kind of break after getting the Golden God achievement I would still have ended up playing this game this year, since the Wrath of the Lamb expansion is coming. But! I love this game. So very very much. It's a perfect podcast listening game, which explains the near 200 hours.
Started 1/14. Charming even in the tutorial.
First PSP game! The thing that made me want a PSP in the first place 4 years ago. Just met a lion man, so that's pretty cool.
Another podcast friendly game. Means I've never really tried out the zen mode properly. Oh well.
It's fun when I'm sitting in the same room as my brother! I hope it's just as fun now that we're in seperate states. I'm bad at playing with strangers online.
I like this! It's fun. My laptop has a little bit of trouble running it when the screen is full up of orcs. I did terribly on the last level I played, but I fully intend to play this more and get better.
Another good one for podcast listening, which is something I do a lot of. I guess I'm running through the "story" mode a second time. Is it supposed to be harder? Whatever, it's fun.
Started 1/15. So I played for 40 minutes without really figuring out how crafting works, but I've got a handle on it now. Flying eyeballs are dicks.
Started 1/15. SO. SLOW. The movement's slow, the level ending is slow, the story bits are slow. I don't hate it but it could stand to move faster. At least it looks to be pretty short.
Beaten 1/19. For some reason this game ate my save twice, so I've played up to getting the 3rd character 3 times. Still, despite this I kept trying and finally defeated it. It was fun, even though it was pretty tiny. It had an alright sense of humor and a kind of interesting battle system. I'm trying to make my way both through this publisher's games and the Penny Arcade games to get ready for PAA 3, which I am incredibly excited about.
Started 1/20. Beat 1/22. So, yeah... I kind of blitzed through this one. It was a step up in every way from Breath of Death VII. Smoother, prettier, longer, funnier. I still need to go through the other content, like the all-female retelling and harder versions with director's commentary, but that's not a bother at all. I really like this game and am now really psyched for Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain Slicked Precipice of Darkness.
