And how did I know before I even clicked the link Ryan reviewed this?

Does he just play Nintendo games to give them mediocre scores?

I'm sure he'd find "De Blob" a masterpiece though.

Other than Jeff's review, same old no new is awesome!

First of all I'm not even going to talk about the breasts or the Star Wars characters everyone knows those are both in tact.Even people that may not be fans of Soul Calibur games.

But Soul Calibur succeeds in many areas.I think the first thing people will notice when they play SC4 is the beautiful visuals and breathtaking endings.THAT ARE NOT PRE-RENDERED!There are some truly beautiful stages and some amazing characters that all look great. The breasts are huge on most female characters but they look reasonably smaller if you put them in bikinis. Some of the tight suits just tend to make them stick out more. The weapons look great the animations are superior to any fighting game I have ever seen and the overall package feels well done, and complete.

There is a good portion of modes in SC4's single player. You have the basic stuff like Arcade, and then there is Story Mode.It feels kinda lame, but some of the endings are very good and entertaining to watch for each character. The actual story revolves around the bos Algol and Sigfried and Nightmare. But the other characters also have things there after and it blends well with the overall story. There is also Tower of Souls and that's basically a challenge mode,it's very hard and frequently annoying but it really pushes you to use skills for the characters and make a powerful one.You can unlock new armor in that mode by completing hidden challenges scattered throughout the floors.Such as do a 10+ combo on this floor or rings yourself out on some other floor. The challenges are rough but fun to complete,it adds replay value and you get free armor so it's a nice way to play around in the single player. You can also Descend the tower, and that is pretty much survival mode but you get two characters instead of just one.

Now we can talk about the online. This is the big bummer of SC4 so far. It's finally here but there are only two modes for it.Special Versus, and Versus.Special Versus lets you use all the skills you have set to one of your characters. So if you want to go online and turn invisible or poison a friend, that's the way to do it.There is a level system, and that's not fleshed out very well you just level up for winning matches.BUT you do get gold for winning matches, and winning matches can be easy so it's a fun way to add gold to your single player bank if you get tired with the AI and want a human challenge. But if you want a complete online experience for a fighter, purchase DOA4,there are way more modes and a far more rewarding exp system.

SC4 sounds amazing, the character voices are not bad at all not nearly as bad as a game like Virtua Fighter. And the soundtrack on the game is nice to.It really fits in with the universe, meaning it sounds pretty damn epic. But it doesn't overdo it.The announcer you have to hear in the game however is straight up annoying. He says the dumbest things I have ever heard,he never makes any sense. But he adds comic relief to the game.

There is a lot to keep you coming back to Soul Calibur 4.Tons of custom options for your character, fun single player and versus modes and a lot to unlock.Soul Calibur 4 should keep fighting fans busy for a long time. And I think most people that play it are going to enjoy it a lot and even prefer it over other fighters.

Fans of the DOA girls will be floored,no one else will be though.

Anyone remember Dead or Alive Xtreme 1?It was a great game featuring volleyball, pool hopping and addictive collecting.O yeah it also has something else, great looking girls in bikinis.

Zack some how manages to trick the lovely ladies of DOA into coming to a restored Zack Island yet again. But this time around its pumped with steroids and tons of fun, even if the game is generally basic. All the girls return to the Island including the addition of Kokoro from DOA4.

You have a lot to choose from now which was one thing critics complained about a lot in the last game. There is Vacation Mode and the main games there are Jet Skii Racing and Volleyball. The Volleyball is pretty basic but its a challenge this time and more lovely to watch.B and A are gonna be your main buttons so its not all that complex, but like I said before it is indeed fun.Jet Ski is another mode which is completely new,and that is also a lot of fun.It plays a lot like wave race but you can do a lot of entertaining tricks and you get extra speed boosts if you manage to stay between the lines perfectly,so no crashing! And there are other things to do on the Island as well such as but bumping,tug-of-war,water sliding and races, which are all very basic but fun games to play around with. There is also another casino in this one, which is yet again basic.

This game clearly looks amazing. The girls look wild, there boobs indeed do jiggle frequently, but none of that is bad right? Some people are gonna complain about the hair, but thats just the way it is now so people need to get over that. The Island looks amazing, the water is very pretty and everything thing else you see in this game looks spot on.

The game has a good soundtrack that fits the game well, but some of the songs really suck.So its a blessing that you can make out your own custom tracks to fit the game to your liking.

There is a ton to do in this game.Lots of addictive collecting yet again.Loads of swimsuits and tons of gifts to give girls to.The achievements in this game are hard to unlock and take dedication. But if you are an insane player you will get points and a nice pictorial mode for each swimsuit set you collect.

Overall DOAX2 is a fun relaxing game that DOAXVB could have been.So its nice to see the series pump itself up with lots more to do.If your into DOA or the games girls,go out an buy it don't let the critics make you think differently, this game is better than what people are going to say.Other people who are not all that interested in DOA should maybe just stick with a rent.

DOA4 is an amazing fighter in every way possible.

DOA has always been a great fighting franchise that always seems to change with the times with every installment, without losing anything players loved about the previous entry's to Tecmo's Life Saver.Though you may not see it at first DOA 4 improves on DOA Ultimate in every way possible, other than number of costumes, and if you are a devote to the series, you have to own this game.People who are not fighting fanatics are probably going to get there ass handed to them, but will eventually learn the ropes if they just keep trying.Anyone who can will probably agree with me that DOA 4 is one of the better fighters created in recent years.

A great story is to be found, but its hard to understand if you have not finished getting through the other ones.It has a lot to do with Helena, the new chairmen of DOATEC(Dead or Alive Tournament Executive Comittee)who has lost both of her parents to the planning of Victor Donavon. The Ninjas of DOA are off to destroy the DOATEC,which somewhat ruined there lives but only find a little surprise when they get there.A clone of Kasumi's DNA,Alpha-152 one of the hardest bosses in DOA history.

You are also given a huge roster of characters to choose. From the red-haired beauty Kasumi,to the insane Ayane, who will kill anything that gets in her way.A few new characters are also thrown in.Kokoro,a Geisha in training, and Eliot,a young meterosexual under the influence of Genfu. And we can't forget Spartan-458,who is actually a martian named Nicole. She has no real purpose of the game, but fighting as a Spartan is fun,and everyone has to love her Plasma Grenade throw!

Dead or Alive has always been about fighting with your brain, and not so much as brute strength.Every character has a great list of moves and counters you will need to learn to fully appreciate them.Though if there is something wrong with the game play it is the counter system. Its a lot harder to pull off a counter in this game rather then the others, and there a lot weaker to make matters worse. So countering is not always the best idea, unless you truly have it mastered. In solo mode you could probably go through it button mashing, but may find it hard to not go insane when you fight the games tough boss.Apart from Story mode, were you can learn about all the characters pasts and futures, there is all those fun modes we have all grown to love,Survival,Time Attack,Team Battle,etc..They all add value to the games replay-ability,especially survival since its so easy to get into, and is not as hard as the other modes. When you master the single player experience why not take the game on line? There is a nifty, cute lobby system were you can watch people fight and form a strategy before you fight the winner, and when you do fight, that is the best time to pull out some reversals,as the human players don't seem to be near as cheap as the AI.There is not a whole lot of lag to deal with,at least not for me,but expect some when you take it for a spin,it is after all an on line game.

Proving graphics can get into game play,DOA 4 proves to have some of the best looks of any console game ever created.Knocking your opponent into bricks,or off a cliff with destructible environments is very fun to watch.Of course the characters are INCREDIBLE looking as well. The anime look returns and looks as detailed as ever. Why there are not as many costumes to dress them up in as in Ultimate, every costume you do earn is detailed to every last trim. After you finish a characters story mode, you will unlock there FMV ending, and its easy to say these are some of the most dramatic, funny and most beautiful FMV's ever made. Most of them involve the games story, but some are fun and sexy laughs, that you wont be able to get enough of.

The sound/music is one of the key improvements in DOA,Aerosmith returns for more great music that blends in perfectly with the game. There are also a lot of fun jazzy sounds in most of the arenas. The characters voices are also still up to par.Thanking God they did not put but one character in English.

Anyone that has a 360 should really give Dead or Alive 4 a go.Its truly one of the most dramatic and most enjoyable featured fighting game to date. And fighting fans would be foolish to not play such a game,as DOA 4 is one of the best fighters ever made.

It's sad to see a potential masterpiece pushed out the door.

First I'm just going to say as a huge HUGE long time Team Ninja fan. This is the most dissapointing game I have ever played from them.

Ninja Gaiden 2 is a revenge story filled with blood bath animations, amazing weapons and so and so graphics. Now a lot of revenge stories can be very well done and interesting.Sadly Ninja Gaiden 2's isn't.There is no depth at all to any of the characters.Thankfully there are some cool cut scenes involving the new Team Ninja babe Sonia.

Let's get right down to what makes Ninja Gaiden 2 a popular game. It's a challenge, and the gameplay is pretty much the best the genre has to offer at the time. Now there is a problem with that. The game gets hard when there are a lot of guys on the screen at once, and as it gets harder the frame rate gos NUTS!Especially on Mentor and Master Ninja difficulties. The game actually feels broken on the higher difficulties, and that's a damn shame seeing as how that's kind of what makes Ninja Gaiden stick out from the other action adventure games out there.Still the gameplay is fun.The weapons are unique and everyone will have there favorite.Unlike playing Ninja Gaiden,Black or Sigma people can actually enjoy the other weapons other than the Dragon Sword. There are 14 levels, the last three are pretty much boss levels with some added fiends..So they feel like filler. The boss fights are pretty fun.But there way easier to beat than ones in NG1.Especially when you get the Scythe. The camera can also be a problem for some levels. It's annoying and that's all there is to it.But most people will get used to it well enough.

The graphics are alright.I mean the combat looks amazing, the game does animate well like Kevin mentions in his full review but some of the characters don't look so good such as the water demons. And the environments are TERRIBLE looking it's kinda sad on the lack of detail NG2 sports. But the blood spilling everywhere thanks to Ryu's kick ass weapon collection more than makes up for it.It reminds me a lot of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1.So much blood!!So pretty!

There is a huge lack of replay value to Ninja Gaiden 2.There is single player, leaderboards and Tests of Valor wich are really easy and pretty stupid.Talk about adding features? Not even mission mode returns to Ninja Gaiden 2!It feels like a downgrade for the series.Especially seeing as how nothing really new is added at all.I remember hearing people say how lack of multiplayer or mission mode wouldn't bug them. But when I pay 60$ of my money I want stuff to come back to in the game other than a single player mode.HUGE dissapointment! And it almost feels unacceptable for Team Ninja to think about adding it later and charging us money for it.Costumes are set for July and those cost money. But in Ninja Gaiden Black I can unlock a good amount of costumes for free.In Ninja Gaiden 2 you get some terrible color swaps.I don't know what Team Ninja was thinking here.

Sound is no biggie in this game but still, there is no memorable tune at all. There whole soundtrack is forgetable and typical. The sound effects are not always in match with the animations but generally sound good.Overall it's not a good sounding game, but not bad either.

If you are a fan of Ninja Gaiden.Buy it of course.Otherwise I might just rent it.It may piss other people with it's camera.Fans are used to the challenge and bad camera.I say fans only but I think others have a small possibility of enjoying this title.
