The best RPGs allow you to build whatever character you want, sure, but they also center your character in some kind of "moral world" or otherwise make some kind of claim about how your character *should* be. This game just felt like I could pick a thousand different ways to be vaguely awful, and every time I wasn't the game didn't seem to care.
So, I'm currently replaying Planescape Torment after only having played it once, and never finishing it. This is a cRPG where you only get 3 classes (Mage/Thief/Fighter) and even then the game heavily encourages you put all your points into Wits because that's what the vast majority of dialogue choices are governed by. It's very much a game with limited playstyles that wants you to play a limited number of ways. It's still considered one of the best cRPGs of all time.
I think Abby did A great job showing what this game is. I don’t understand the comments.
The issue is that she didn't do a great, or even passable job. This is a cRPG all about dialogue, she ignored most of the dialogue in order to move forward and get... more dialogue.
What is it with GB lately and putting people on games they clearly aren't going to enjoy? Like Dan with John Wick Hex, and Abby with a CRPG? JWH was an Alex game, this is either a Vinny or Rorie game.
It was never that. It was always presented as Valkyrie Profile. If anything, the combat got faster. The fights are taking long because Jan isn't utilizing any of the combos. He's playing this like a turn based rpg, which it very much isn't.
So, is the "You're all 750 light" thing opt in? I've had Destiny 2 on PC for a while, but fell off it. I'd like to still do the whole progression thing if possible if/when I come back.
So, is this the one where Nancy has a different voice actress? I remember hearing something about them changing VAs, but Im not sure if its for this, or another game.
Edit: Wait no, nevermind. This is old. I kinda assumed Nancy Drew games just kinda look like this.
