[START 1/12]
DEATHS: II
SURVIVED: [x]
-
[1/12] Best don't-want-to-get-out-of-bed-because-that'll-wake-my-other-but-I'm-wide-awake-and-need-something-to-do game.
-
[1/12] Great game for wasting time while waiting in Apple Store.
-
[1-3/12] Oh no. OCD junk food. [2/12] I don't know why I'm still playing this nearly every day. There's absolutely no point other than to be a size queen.
-
[1-2/12] mehhh... [2/12] mehhhhhhhh...
-
[1/12] These loading screens are making this a little trying.
-
[1/12] Cute but forgettable
-
[1/12] I want more.
-
[1/12] Demo/Playtest. If it comes out this year, it'll be in the top 10 for sure.
-
[1/12] ... why am I bored? It definitely picks up a few hours in, but the experience isn't as tight as it was with Arkham Asylum.
-
[1/12] From the pile of shame, finally playing.
-
[1/12] The first Zelda game that -- even while playing it -- I don't want to play.
-
[START 2/12] None of the charm of the Shooter series.
-
[2/12] <yawn>
-
[2/12] Sometimes, you have to play mediocre games to appreciate the good ones.
-
[2/12] Realizing that I hadn't beaten GoW on anything higher than Casual, I decided to go back to the start, and now I plan on playing all three in a row (more or less). Halfway through this one, it remarkably is still a great looking game. Kind of surprising. [3/12] Found myself stuck on the later part of the game when the instant-kill bow is introduced. Have at least played it twenty times to no avail. So much for a GoW marathon.
-
[2/12] Hour in: yep, I suspect this'll satisfy my Dragon Age longing... except, wow... the dialogue trees are really awful and the lack of my character's voice is jarring. It's like having a conversation where you only say one to three words and then get a multi-length response. In comparison, I'd take Skyward Sword's dialogue over this. [3/12] Still playing. It's a great relaxing game to spend two hours on after a hard day. Doing every quest in every area, finding all the hidden spots, and just loot collecting to a point where you find nothing of use any more. Never-ending tasks are a major problem (there's no need for them, really). But at this point, I've completed 105 quests and spent 44 hours* doing so. [*Sort of. The game never pauses. So if you walk away with it paused, the time keeps going. If I had to guess, I think I've only spent 35 hours with the game.]
-
[2/12] As long as you only go forward and not backwards, you won't notice how poor the game is.
-
[2/12] This doesn't feel like a Starbreeze game of yore, but it's still a fine shooter. Just, well... bland.
-
[2/12] Why... Why am I playing this? It's so awful... yet... something's there?
-
[3/12] Is this perhaps the ugliest Ubisoft game this generation?
-
[3/12] Hm. I hate those damn fire tress.
-
[3/12] Fun and semi-midnless so far. Also kinda ugly in that DS way. [4/12] First half done. [6/12]
-
[3/12] Can have surprisingly beautiful moments.
-
[4/12] This is a terrible game, right?
-
[4/12] Spent what felt like five hours with it. Probably won't go back for a while.
-
[3/12] Awesome.
-
[4/12] Great Metroid-vania vibes, except leveling up happens a little too fast and doesn't seem to stop. Seems to be evolving, though backtracking is already getting old. [8/12] Wow, does the difficulty all of a sudden ramp up at (what seems) the end.
-
[4/12] Plays great on my Android.
-
[4/12] Need to be in a certain state of mind.
-
[4/12] Hm. Not what I'm looking for. Strange.
-
[4/12] Forget Hot Pursuit, this is the game I wanted to play. It's like the creators played a lot of Crazy Taxi and decided to make their version of it.
-
[5/12] Was not the best shooter before... still isn't.
-
[5/12]
-
[5/12] Started to crave more, so I'm now DLC-bound.
-
[5/12] Whoa. Something about this is awesome.
-
[5/12]
-
[5/12]
-
[5/12]
-
[5/12] It was a mistake renting this from Redbox, since they only let you rent the first disc.
-
[6/12] Going console-less for a month, so I'll be burning through back catalog on laptop. Game is cute, but I wonder if it's going to get long in the tooth.
-
[6/12] Oh, how I don't miss the Playstation generation as much as I think I should.
-
[6/12] Enjoying this perhaps much more than Vanquish.
-
[7/12] Some really bad slow down has made this game unplayable. [10/12] Finally the game is running smoothly, but I've forgotten what was going on.
-
[7/12] Definitely top 10 of this year.
-
[8/12] Not nearly as fun
-
[8/12] Wish I had tried the demo first...
-
[8/12] Blegh...
-
[8/12] If only it included the original game as well...
-
[8/12] I'm finally really getting into Castlevania, thanks in part to Monster Tale.
-
[8/12] While previously playing Vanquish, my 360 died. So here I am, hoping it doesn't happen again.
-
[8/12] Wait, wait, wait... why does the game start with WoW-like characters? Not interested right now.
-
[8/12] I'm enjoying this way too much. Way. Too. Much. The writing and the delivery of dialogue makes really stupid situations (see BoPo) bearable, which is a backhanded compliment.
-
[8/12] I rented this just to see if it was my type of game. Oh, it totally is, but I'm not going to play it any more because I want a life.
-
[9/12] This should have been a horrible game. It. Is. Not. Simple, yes. Addictive, yes. Colored me shocked.
-
[9/12] Oh, I'm sorry. What were you saying? Too busy smashing blocks. Look! It's a puppy!
-
[9/12] FIREWERKS.
-
[9/12] Just. Don't.
-
[9/12] Uhh... no.
-
[9/12]
-
[9/12] Played five minutes... then gave up. Don't have the time just yet to invest in a Pokemon game.
-
[9/12] Launched by accident, ended up playing for what felt like an hour. Nice, chill game.
-
[9/12] I chased a bunny and then a meteor. Yup.
-
[9/12] Good, but not great.
-
[9/12] Wow, the controls feel like shit, especially compared to the JSRF.
-
[9/12] There's a lot to love, but why is everything so small? I've moved a chair to be right in front of the TV just so I could see what was going on.
-
[9/12] Uh...
-
[9/12] ARKEDO! [10/12] BORING!
-
[10/12] Apparently strong narration is my favorite thing that's happened to games.
-
[10/12] It's like a dumbed-down Katamari. Why did I think that was a good thing?
-
[10/12] Mindless, bloody, wide levels with nothing to do. Perfect relaxing game for Halloween.
-
[11/12] Running through the country, catching and killing animals, riding a horse horribly... makes me wish there was a Red Dead Redemption sequel.
The story hasn't grasped me. Connor is unlikable (partly due his way too quick introduction).
The side characters' models just look awful, and during interactive conversations, all characters' mouths look like no one is trying.
-
[12/12] Oh, oh I do not like this game.
-
[12/12] Feels so much like the 2D levels in Shadows of the Damned, but without the humor...
-
