@xbob42: Well said, I am not even trying to defend Kingdom Hearts. I made my own thread a while back with complaints about KH 1.5, particularly how clunky the camera and controls were. I am not asking for some type of speed run. I just want some good banter that relates to what is happening on screen. In many cases it feels like I could rip the audio from these episodes and lose nothing, because the game isn't even being used as a vehicle to enhance the conversation. It just comes across as unnecessary.
I don't think any aspect of kingdom Hearts universe is fun to watch or play so hearing people here dismiss other people's opinion and say this game is not a garbage fire are clearly blinded by their love for this bad game series. Someone said the combat is better than most games and they have obviously not played any other games since I can name a dozen games instantly that have better combat from the same era.
so you are allowed to hate the game, but someone with a different opinion is just "blinded by their love"? Maybe you're blinded by your hate boner for kingdom hearts.
Imagine if the Persona 4 ER was played with such a fleeting interest. The criticism this feature is getting is certainly valid. It seems like the GB approach to most games is treated like UPF every day of the week. Caring enough to do the basics could go a long way to improving this series.
Hope Jeff can join in the experience later on too. Kingdom Hearts has some good qualities, but it does take overlooking design issues like controls + camera.
