@bedouin: Thanks, I really appreciate it! And yeah, the Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games in the past few years as well. Although I think exploring the world is little bit more fun in Breath of the Wild, you really can't beat Witcher 3's story and characters.

@htr10: Thanks! And yeah, BOTW is totally worth picking up a Switch for. That, and Super Mario Odyssey.

Breath of the Wild was easily my favorite game of 2017, so on its 1 year anniversary, I thought it would be cool to release a video talking about why I think it's so amazing. The game felt revolutionary in a time when open world games began to feel a little stale. And I think Breath of the Wild's map is really what set it apart from other open world games. I remember Best World being a heated point of discussion during GB's 2017 GOTY awards (partly because people were confused as to what the award actually meant), but in my personal opinion, I think it ultimately went to the right game.

I hope to continue making even more video essay analyzing games in the future, so stay tuned! Thanks everyone!

@mattgiersoni:Oh wow, I almost completely forgot that P5 came out for the PS3 as well. Thankfully, the visuals aren't too heavily reliant on things like resolution, as its style basically carries the weight, but I can see how the baggage of a previous gen console would have an effect.

And thanks for your kind words! My goal with this first video was to keep it pretty concise.

@cerberus3dog: @pauljeremiah: Thanks! I really appreciate it!

@humanity: Yeah, the character designs are really inventive, and I like how wild/out-there they are with a lot of their designs.

Hey all! So I started a YouTube channel in which my goal is to offer some analysis and insight into games I think are worthy of discussion, and I decided to make my first video about the incredible visual style of Persona 5. I thought it would be cool to share it with the Giant Bomb community, since I know there was a lot of debate between Persona 5 and Cuphead for best styyyyyyyyyyyyyyyle (I think it's obvious which side of the spectrum I lean towards regarding that argument).

This is my first time doing something like this, so any feedback or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for watching!

The Exquisite Corps has made me want to play XCOM: Enemy Within. But I was wondering just how to access the content...

So I played XCOM: Enemy Unknown on the Xbox 360 way back when it first came out. A few years later, I bought XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Enemy Within on Steam on sale, but I never got around to playing it. Is Enemy Within a separate campaign I can select, or is it just extra content that's added to the Enemy Unknown base campaign? Because if I have to play through Enemy Unknown again just to see the Enemy Within content, then I don't think I'm gonna play through it...I can't put that many hours into XCOM again...

And while I'm asking questions, I have another for people who played XCOM 2: would playing Enemy Within be kinda jarring if I already played XCOM 2? Just wondering if the new features in XCOM 2 would make playing Enemy Within feel dated or something. Cause I played through XCOM 2 earlier this year and loved it.
