@do_the_manta_ray: Thanks! That sounds alright, we have a few people who might be inflexible but hopefully our 6th member can work as a stand-in when our full team isn't available. The worst server for me, personally is EU. While I live in SEA I still regularly play US West/East with not much issue (200-300 ping).
@do_the_manta_ray: Hi just a quick question: What's the schedule going to look like? Will it be set up so that you will just give us a deadline to play our round 1 match? So we can organize between the other team on exactly when we want to meet up, or will we be given a specific time/date and we just have to appear?
@do_the_manta_ray: Is there anything being done to prevent smurfs from entering the Low-level bracket? I know it can be hard to tell whether someone with 5 wins is new or smurfing but I feel like it's too easy to create a new Steam account with DOTA2 and jump into the Low-level bracket and stomp people.
@thule: Thanks! It was a pleasure casting ^^ You might consider switching to Swiss Style brackets. It might delay games because of the format, but it allows each player to get matched up against other players with equal results, so if you play enough you'd hopefully find someone around your level. The downside to that though is that you might end up having similar match-ups in the bracket stages as dominating players like Domorin or Psych would face each other near the end of the swiss groups. Something to consider, though.
