  • A year full of remakes but that isn't a bad thing. Omega Ruby is an remake of the Gameboy advance games but set in the new engine. THe core gameplay remains the same from Pokemon X/Y. The enjoyment of collecting Pokemon, gym badges and going throug its own story is still there even having played multiple games previously.

  • The new expansion to Diablo 3 and the constant new updates, have breathed a new life into an already brilliant game. The new act adds new enemies and a different area, along with the adventure mode. This mode allows the player to complete random questions without engaging in the story. So you can grind the best loot for hours. Also included is the ability to enter nephalam gate. These gates will provide random dungeons and sometimes some bizarre ones. Still an awesome game.

  • One of the most talked about anime of this year with the success of season 1+2. The game incorporates the most important elements of the anime, the ability of ascending through 30+ floors and interacting with all of your favourite characters available. A new portion of the game includes an alternative world with its own story. The core game is an character action game with rpg elements. If you love the anime, you will certainly enjoy the game.

  • I love the Persona universe and having a game where P3 and P4 meet is a dream come true. Having a new storyline and furthering the canon is always exciting. The gameplay is based on the Etrian Odyssey series, which is famous for its interactive map system. The story and gameplay are crazy but some of the map designs are challenging and some times frustrating.

  • Titanfall is one of those games which i should have hated, multiplayer focused and always online. Having said that i had a great time as i was actually good at this game. The month i spent playing titanfall showed me that you can change the gameplay by just adding robots/mechs. The only downside to is the active scence has dwindled, especially on the PC (not sure on the Xbox one/360).

  • If you have played one Disgaea, you have played them all. Having played Disgaea 3, i was hesitant to buy the next game but decided to give it a chance. The humor in the game is just one of the highlights, along with the bizarre cast of characters. The gameplay remains the same but slight improvements add to the already superb gameplay.

  • The football manager series has always been a gateway into management for every football fan. Having missed last years game, the new additions the have added have greatly improved my time with the game (nearly 71 hours played in 3 weeks). The instant game option allows a quick simulation of the result and speeds up someone the more easy matches. The one new addition to the game which i think most people will feel most angered about is the micro transactions. You cant cheat in real football and the whole point of FM is to see how well you do in management.
