This holiday session will be the first true test for the Nintendo 3DS. In the year 2007 Nintendo sold more then 653,000 Nintendo DS handhelds in Thanksgiving week (11/18/07-11/24/07) and then selling 2.47 million units in December, for a total of 8.5 million units throughout the entire year. Since the launch of the 3DS in march Nintendo has sold nearly 5 million 3DS handhelds worldwide 2.5 million coming from the north Americas. The price drop from 249.99 to 169.99 back in August really helped sales. Nintendo sold 235,000 that month. A month before the price drop Nintendo only sold 60,000 3DS handhelds. This holiday season will tell the story of the future of the 3DS if the 3DS cant sell during the holiday season then it is truly doomed. If developers see pore holiday sales expect to see more and more games canceled. With strong sales expect to see more and more 3rd parties announce triple A titles for 2012.

Just finished Dragon age 2 and loved it. Playing it on the PC it’s a 30ish hour game. The game felt 10 hours to short , one day I played 12 hours straight. Doing all the side quest even the DCL, that came out the same day as the game, that gives you an extra playable character and some side missions really helps pad out the experience. I plan on playing one more time as a mage to see what happens when different decisions are made. I loved the first game and played multiple times with the different starting races. The second game might not be as much fun the second time since not much else will change I'm very interested to see how much my decisions will affect the story this time around. I liked the faster paced combat of Dragon age 2 but missed being able to pull the camera back but you can still pause and I pause often. Over all I really had fun if I had to score the game I would give it a 8 out of 10
