There's actually a lot of females on these and other game forums. They just don't advertise it

I'm sure plenty of you guys/girls came here from Gamespot. There are too many fanboy-induced posts in the forums, and from what I understand the reviews no longer have any credibility.

But that's not really the main reason, seeing as I now usually consult metacritic because it comes from a wide variety of sources.

The only reviewer I really admire that still is there is Jason O'Campo.

What I hate about girls in video games is that they're rarely realistic. I don't want to be playing alongside or against a scantily clad big breasted girl, I want to see characters that are realistic. Alyx from Half Life 2 is much closer to a typical girl.

Beware, you don't want this site to end up like Discogs (where pending submissions stay on hold for months and months)
