Radiohead. They changed the way I look at music, and I don't mean that in a "they are just that good" kind of way. I literally mean their arrangements, lyrics, time signatures, everything - if you get into them enough you will see what I mean. They have been my favorite band for the past 6 years.  Also:  Sigur Ros  Mum  Beck  The Arcade Fire The Museum Pieces Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! (Listen to "The Skin of my Yellow Country Teeth") Boards of Canada David Bowie has some pretty wicked stuff early Peter Gabriel ("Moribund Burgermeister", FTW) early Genesis (With Peter Gabriel lol) Godspeed You! Black Emperor A Silver Mt. Zion  Led Zeppelin Mogwai  Muse (Actually listen to their albums - not just the stuff from guitar hero like 90% of the people who know of Muse) Mr. Bungle  Nick Drake  Neutral Milk Hotel  Philip Glass  Pink Floyd  Protest the Hero  Placebo  St. Vincent (LOL thanks Bruce!)  Sufjan Stevens  Tool Wintersleep (Listen to "Nerves Normal, Breath Normal" RIGHT THE HELL NOW, they're a local band from where I'm from)
Honestly after hearing this song yesterday from this thread I have been listening to this and only this. It is stuck in my head and I think Annie Clark is so talented. Again thank you for posting this Bruce!
This happened a little while ago but I'm wondering if it can be undone. Last christmas, I got Infinite Undiscovery as a gift and I played it at my parents place where they only have a dial up connection (they live deep in the country). However, shortly before Christmas, I was at a friends place and we recovered my gamertag so I could play stupid old CoD with him online. Anyway, I couldn't re-recover my gamertag at my parents place because they have no broadband. At the time I didn't know what I was doing because I was completely unaware of the situation. So, I proceeded to keep playing IU. Anyway when I got back to the city and re-recovered my gamertag I found out that the achievements I got from IU were gone. If I play the game over again, will I be able to get the achievements again? A friend told me that the same thing happened to him but when he went to replay the game none of the achievements would register, but I don't think that's true. It just wouldn't be fair or make any sense. What do you guys think?
Even if you get either Bioshock or Fable 2, they are both great choices that will last at your speed. It just depends on whether you want a shooter or an RPG.
