For anyone else having heat issues with your PS4 pro right now, the top of that system is designed to pop off easily. This exposes the fan while not exposing anything critical. You can leave the top off, or leave it cracked open. This reduces fan noise/speed a ton, and also stops heat shutdowns in extreme temps.
OH wow haha, the start of this video is a beautiful mess. The sharp stuttering, the deafening game audio and Jeff's wonderful collage all added together to be something terrible and very special.
Huh... I love everything about 2016, my favourite FPS since it came out for sure.
But, this just looks like they took the action and systems and expanded on them... But then kinda focused WAY too much on that? Like the level design is largely for the sake of game mechanics, and the world building has taken a backseat to it. Everything looks like an Unreal Tournament map, mostly function and little form. I can understand why, they seems to have built the levels as strung together arena's. Doom 2016 did that as well, only it was much harder to see the seams because what was between the arenas had depth and purpose, and the arena's were all varied and fit with that.
The mood and level design were a huge part about what made Doom 2016 amazing, and Eternal kinda just feels like a 1/2 of Doom 2016 with the gain cranked up to 100%.
Hey, those models looks much better than the original. The models were plain terrible in terms of polygon count and texturing in WC3, even for the time. It's definitely the one element that I can say is a great improvement... Perhaps people just forgot how bad they looked?
Other than the unit and building quality mesh and texture increase, I'm just not seeing a lot else other than texture updates. It looks like nice models running around an old looking low-poly map with outdated lighting and effects, including a questionable lack of shaders on... well, everything.
It feels like the game needed a higher budget and a larger scope for improvements.
For real though, It's way more readable when it's small. Problem is, the viewers also have to see it large if they are viewing on a monitor/TV and click to watch the video - and then it falls apart.
It could easily be made 2x4 times smaller and still be readable in the thumbnail though. Maybe that would save it?
