Proof if ever there was needed in this thread (there wasn't really, I'm being facetious) that crticising the US military is still completely out of bounds in the US.
As the nation goes to shit, people worship at the very thrones of those partaking in its downfall, whether they realise it or not....
Hey I'm as left-wing as they come in America and I'm a little embarrassed that you and me probably agree on a lot of things because you are a ridiculous self-absorbed dumbass. Please change your political/social views so they are less like mine and also get back to us when you graduate 9th grade and stop wearing Che Gueverra t-shirts. Thank you, comrade.
@LiquidPrince: Nice thread idea but goddamn you are a fan of really shitty movies and mediocre-at-best action/fantasy soundtracks.
I'm surprised Lord of the Rings didn't get mentioned yet. The entire soundtrack was amazing for that.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon's featuring Yo Yo Ma was incredible. Brilliant, sometimes exhilarating string music with an undercurrent of sadness that perfectly summed up the tone of the film.
Brokeback Mountain was a phenomenal movie with an equally phenomenal soundtrack by Gustavo Santaolalla, which like Crouching Tiger fit the theme of longing and pain beautifully.
Lawrence of Arabia had a shit-ton of songs from it that are used all the time today and most people don't even know where they came from. And they're all pretty awesome.
One I feel is underrated is Gang of New York's, which didn't have a bad song throughout. The opening here is a perfect "going-to-battle" song.
Look Justin Bieber is a relatively hot lesbian and once she grows up it'll only get better and I would look to see more of her on the You Tube. Thank you.
