I haven't played Eternal Darkness since it came out, but I bet it holds up. It's mainly an adventure game. The combat is there, but that's not the focus.

I always forget about the insanity mechanic because if it weren't there, the game would still be good. I remember the insanity stuff tricking me in fun ways and getting me to chuckle a few times. But it was the story, atmosphere, music and gameplay variety that were what made Eternal Darkness memorable for me.

Plenty of desserts can replace chocolate, but nothing replaces cheese. Wise words. Nothing replaces cheese.

It's the year of infinites and eternals. The year of publishers saying they're never gonna stop making sequels.

But anyway, I'm super pumped for Doom Eternal and Rage 2. I've been loving the shooters that Bethesda has been putting out in the past few years.

I'm on world 3 and didn't notice anyone saying "Hell" in this game. When does that happen?
