It looks like it has some interesting ideas and a cool concept. I hope they get the time to polish it up as it looked pretty rough from the gameplay trailer.
I think it certainly helps legitimize fan games to some extent. Would have been very cool to see Nintendo take AM2R under it's wing, in the same way, but I guess they already had their own thing in the works. And in general perhaps don't feel as in need of outside assistance as I feel Sega might be. Though with Metroid specifically, it seems to me that Nintendo actually could use the help.
I'm torn between Deus Ex and Infamous 2. I decided to vote Infamous 2, since that probably left the biggest emotional impression on me. Both games are worth playing though.
I thought it fit the character completely, and I thought he was quite amusing actually. But I guess some people just don't like that type of character, which is perfectly fine.
