the reason everyone is saying that respecting the warning might be nice to do (besides basic compassion for other people) is because something very similar happened with undertale, where toby fox requested people not post about a certain secret for a period of time or else he wouldn't continue to update it. and people posted about it, and he never updated it. yes obviously you can't stop every person on twitter from talking about something but i would hope that at least the press would be able to restrain themselves for just one day
1. The existence of a Toby Fox game called "Deltarune" is not a spoiler.
2. It sounds to me like the person you should be mad at is named Toby Fox, then.
@zuldim: Don't be so dismissive. On the very web page that you download this from there is a request to not discuss the game for a day. Just one day.
He put the game out. Once you put the game out, it's out. People who are interested (like me!) can choose not to engage with this stuff until they've gotten a chance to play it.
@klaimore: The persona-style summons in this game are Fire Emblem characters. Also, it borrows the sword weak to spears weak to axes triangle from Fire Emblem. But yeah, if you're coming to it just to get a Fire Emblem fix, it seems like you might walk away disappointed.
