They better call it something like Prototype 2: Beta Testing

The game was fun...until you had to actually do something in it.

Have to admit, I got the game as a present last Christmas and still haven't actually played it.
But I will, eventually, and I'd be interested to see how a sequel could expand on the ideas.
 
But it just didn't appeal to me the same way inFamous did.

I loved protoype, the biggest problem I think it had was the bland sandbox. The core gameplay was insanely fun for me.
 
Hopefully they expand on the combat and environment for this.

As much hate as it got,there was actually a very good idea in that game.However,much like say,Fable for example,it just wasn't put together that well.I think if the technical part could equal the premise,it'd be a hell of a good time.

I was hoping for a new IP judging by the background image, kind of dissapointed to hear that it is Prototype 2.

I'm going to welcome this. The original game was a fun idea, albeit poorly executed. Maybe they can polish up the flaws that were present in it, because at the core of Prototype was a fairly decent game, I think. There was some kind of appeal, snatching a civilian and sprinting up a wall, before stealing their identity. And then jumping into an Apache gunship. Just because. I look forward to seeing how this game develops.

That's nice. I liked this game and I was hoping for a sequel.

If they keep the free running gameplay, I am a happy man.
