    Rainbow Six

    Franchise »

Rainbow Six is a series of games where you travel around the world hunting down terrorists as part of a global anti-terrorist unit. It was essential in bringing the popularity of Tactical FPS's to the mainstream gaming audience.

What do you want to see in the next Rainbow Six? (TBA @ E3)

News was broken in NeoGAF earlier this month:
"saw this earlier today but according to this guys linkedin profile he "Developed Pro Tools sessions from Ubisoft audio for the game demo of Rainbow Six (2011)"

Also it appears Ubisoft owns the website www.rainbowsix-BD.com

All I have to say is, its about time. "

I would love for it to be a reboot (goodbye Vegas). Less hollywood PLEASE. No stupid betrayals and bullshit like that.
Pre mission planning please. Linear level design is fine, just more choices. Look to the original game and Rogue Spear or even RS3 to get back on track with the series- don't pull a Conviction on me goddamnit.

I played a shitload of rogue spear back in the day but I don't think a rainbow six in the classic style could be made today. Raven Shield was the last hurrah for the older style of rainbow six game.

I really liked Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2. One of very few online games where I would regularly see people using proper teamwork.

@thehexeditor: Its not just that. The game is far too slow for the ADDolecent COD crowd and the aforementioned requirement of actual teamwork. Their little heads would pop like balloons.

Use the same engine that Future Solider is on (isn't that a new one?).

Not be Rainbow Six Vegas 3 but a real sequel new name etc.

They can easily have one or two members of the team (in story mode at least) be former member of Seal Team Six. In the Rainbow Six book (the original), the whole idea for the team is that it's a multinational unit...I'm sure this will happen. It'll sell more games.
