Rayman Legends comes out on the 29th/30th for Australia/Europe and September 3rd for North America. Judging by the early reviews it looks like a cracking game.

I'm pretty excited for this game, always loved Rayman, and Origins was great.

I might have to pick this up, give me a reason to use my Vita.

@daemonblack: @village_guy: @timing: Added links to the OP. Yeah i think it will look great for the Vita but Nintendo must be angry as this would have been a killer game for the Wii U if it launched exclusively.

Revision 3 games (Rev3Games) gave it 5/5 stars. Tara even said she recommends the WiiU version as the best experience if you can get it. I think that's the first time I've heard someone say that.

The PC demo I played was really charming. Also it reminded me of Kung Pow due to a certain song.

@ollyoxenfree: I have decided to listen to the first Rayman OST just now. MAN that is some good shit. Its great to see Rayman back as a platformer. No disrespect to the Rabbid games but they were not rayman!

I think I'm going to hold off on Saints Row and Splinter Cell a little longer to get this. The demo was the first thing I played on my Wii U and it was absolutely fantastic.

I still want to hold off before I might get this, but good for Legends getting the great press thus far! I also want to note that September 3 looks like a top notch release day for games, including Rayman Legends.

Doesn't appeal to me, but its nice to see the game is getting good reviews.

Real Talk: Rayman Origins shitted on every Mario platformer since like the 90s.

I'm really excited for it, it looks amazing, it has a better checkpoint system, they recreated the Origins levels and the musical levels are absolutely insane! Can't wait to get it.

I'm getting the Wii U version

If you liked Origins, this game is everything you wanted. Played a good amount of it yesterday and my only disappointment is that there isn't more levels to the main campaign. Also, if you didn't play Origins the inclusion of a good amount of re-worked Origins levels makes it a great deal (and sorta addresses my only complaint in that case).

I usually really really really really don't like this genre of games. I didn't grow up with it and it never caught up to me. But this game is a fucking delight to play. It looks awesome, from my point of reference it plays awesome and it sounds awesome. If you are even remotely interested in this type of games get this ... now!

I played three hours of this before coming to work today... This game is so fucking delightful to play it hurts me a little inside. The first musical level was full of the kind of magic I thought only little children could experience.

This game is incredible. I played and got everything in the first world and it's crazy how varied and fun the levels are so far. The music level is probably one of the best (if not the best) jump and run experience I've ever had (and I'm not even a huge Mario fan). In addition to that it looks absolutely gorgeous with the music being fantastic too. So far I have no complaints at all. It's the shit.

I believe you unlock an invaded version of nearly every level too and they are hard as fuck (you could play some of them in the demo). So there really shouldn't be a lack of content.

@altairre: Oh, there's absolutely no lack of content at all in the game. I'm just saying I'd love even more new unique worlds and music levels =)

Sure, especially when they're that good. I'm hearing some complaints about the Murphy stuff but I had no issues with it so far playing on PC with a gamepad.

agreed. that's definitely a first. phew! Nintendo got that out of the way now they need to start pumping out more games.
