I cannot wait for this game, it looks awesome! But I would like to know if they have announced if the Co-Op function is only online or if it is split-screen as well?

I haven't heard anything official, but on a youtube comment someone said it was.  Now obviously thats not a reliable source, so I have no idea, but I would hope so.  But honestly, I wouldn't expect it to be split screen.

I bet that online is required for coop play, so no split screen… :(

I hope so.. My little sisters loved watching me play RE4... It's the only game they've actually sat down and watched me play.

No, it has been confirmed by Chris Kramer that you can play co-op on a single box and also online
