A nice trip down memory lane

Short and sweet here.  This DLC is worth the 400 points it cost.  Its not incredibly long but the content within is well made and fills in some nice backstory.  Its also cool to go back to the Spencer Mansion even if it has been changed around.  If you were a fan of RE5 in anyway check this out you wont be let down.  The graphics are great, the story is decent and the gameplay is tried and true.  By the time you're done your going to wish for a full HD Remake of The original Resident Evils.  It would be perfect if they kept the RE5 control scheme and mixed it with the static camera angles of the original.

Did I say static camera?  One cool thing is if you go to the front door a few times you find a nice easter egg that lets you run through with static camera angles like in the original games.  Simply awesome!

The current user score on giantbomb (2.7 at the time of this writing) doesnt do this DLC justice.  It deserves your attention, dont let the score sway you.  If you like the series you will like this DLC.

I also very much doubt any reason would make my opinion any more or less valuable, so let's just jump right in, shall we? It's no surprise to those who've kept up with the Resident Evil series that it's lost sight of it's horror roots in the recent years, and grown into a more modernized third person shooter. at 5 bucks this is totally worth it! 0

Here you get to play through what was just a flashback for Chris in the main game. Being a huge Resident Evil fan, I’ve always maintained that I really liked RE5, but didn’t love it. Upon reflection though, it was a damn fine game once you got over the flaws. At 5 bux and available for the platforms that RE5 showed up on(not sure about the PC version though), this DLC is totally worth it and warrants a 9/10 from the double R. The Good – The setting takes you back to a mansion that’s very remini...
