I'll probably buy Heaven Beside you, but thats it, and i like Alice in Chains.  Does anyone know how the new album is anyway? i havent read a review of it or anything.

Wants Rotten Apple. Heaven Beside you would be fun.

I'm happy with any AIC coming as DLC, although I would prefer they concentrate on their back catalog.  They should put the entire Dirt album up as DLC.

I like the new album a lot.  It took a couple of listens to get used to not hearing Layne Staley's signature sound though.  Jerry Cantrell and the new guy basically harmonize vocals like AIC did in the past but I find it hard to differentiate between Jerry's voice and the new guys.  To me it's basically vintage AIC musically with Jerry Cantrell doing lead vocals.  I am be biased though, I have followed the band religiously since Facelift was released.

I like Alice in Chains, but I wish Harmonix would focus on getting some new bands for DLC.

@Phished0ne: New album is excellent, it's pretty much a love letter to Layne Staley and has some excellent songs, especially the title track.

This, though I'll still grab this pack and (If they release it) Them Bones, Dam That River, & Angry Chair in a heartbeat.
