    Roger Dean is known for his fantasy paintings which frequently appeared on the covers of Psygnosis games. In the late 1990s, Dean designed a new logo for the Tetris franchise.

    Outside of video games, Dean is a prolific painter of rock album covers, particularly associated with the bands Yes and Asia.
