Corkscrew Follies added additional scenarios to the original game, as well as number of new rollercoasters and other attractions, themes, and stalls. It also added the ability to change the primary and secondary colors on umbrellas as well as balloons, which while a minor change, made parks feel more personalized.
New Rollercoasters
- Wood-side Friction
- Vertical drop
- Steel twister
New still attractions
- Crooked house
- Inverting swinging ships
Other new features
One of the biggest changes implemented in Corkscrew follies was adding more gradual turns on the Coaster tracks, so that the roller coaster wouldn't necessarily need to be aligned with the isometric grid. This was rolled back into all the rollercoasters which were included in the original release. The ability to choose several path colors for main paths and queue lines was also added, but the user was not allowed to choose from the games full palette. Signs which could display user written messages were added, though these had no impact on the game, unless the "No Entry" option was selected which would keep guest out of (or in, depending on how sadistic you were feeling) areas you don't want them to go.
