    Hellish? I prefer "supertropical". 0

Right now, my Gat out of Hell save file is at at 95% with an 8 hour playtime. If you're expecting a campaign on par with Saints Row IV or The Third in terms of length, look elsewhere. What you've got here is an oddly stuctured series of side Activities and minigames, and the "sidequest" parts of Gat Out of Hell ARE the main quest. You do enough of them and you eventually unlock the next story mission of which there are VERY few.Luckily, these sidequests are quite good. They even went far enough t...

Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell Review 0

Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell is not as long as any of it's predecessors. Neither is it as absurd, or as funny, or as deep. In fact it's plainly far less entertaining than either Saints Row The Third or Saints Row IV. However, as a cut-price, stop-gap to whatever the next piece of insanity Volition put out next; it's pretty darn good.Gat Out Of Hell tells us the tale of Jonny Gat and his descent into hell to save the player character "The Boss" from Satan, and The Dark Lord's plan to marry his dau...

Saints Row 4, though almost as large as SR3, was more or less a rehash of SR3 but with a Matrix twist. Gat Out of Hell is SR4 except on a new arrangement of a smaller landmass. It's not Steelport, it's an original map, but everything looks and feels like the previous two games. It feels like we've been deriving less interesting games from SR3 ever since THQ folded.Gat Out of Hell is, a...

A Disappointing Cash-In On The Saints Row Popularity 0

Is It The Same Saint’s Row I Know And Love? The core tenants of the “Saints Row” experience are kind of present; they take matters into their own hands and have the same carefree approach to their problems as ever, even when confronted with the prospect of taking down Satan. But if you thought where Saints Row 3 and 4 excelled was the writing, and you’re looking for more of that, then, sadly, you’re looking in the wrong place. The main cause for this, is there’s...
