After turning their infamy into worldwide fame, the Third Street Saints now find themselves at war with a powerful criminal organization called The Syndicate. Strap it on.
Just wondering if any of you think that Saints Row 3 would be using the GeoMod 2.0 engine, made so famous by Red Faction Guerilla. Id love to roam around stillwater crashing my car into skyscrapers that actually collaspe.
@intoblivion: that game is in war-torn cities and forests, Saint's Row is in a living city with skyscrapers, so i doubt they'd have something where you could take a plane and crash it into a sky scraper and watch it collapse (though, i have to admit that sounds like a lot of fun ^^)

Lol they should do it like WWE broadcasts, not show the impact of the object and cut to somin random
Sure any system can cope with the calculations of a tall building collapsing, sheesh that's not gonna cause any slowdown at all. So that's a no from here.
I can see where you comming from tbh, but id love a game where is co-op lol, one person flies a plane and another has to get outta a skyscraper in time, with full destruction physics, would be sooo awesome.
No, that would break the game. I admit that I would like to see a game with a metropolis that is highly destructible. GeoMod 2.0 is a bit too destructive though. It makes it feel like everything is made of toothpicks loosely pasted together. Yet, at other times, a structure will be held up by a single beam/column/etc. Destruction for a dense city would have to be highly specialized for the sake of keeping set pieces of a "campaign" from bugging out or just not working. However, I think it would be an interesting alternate free-roaming mode, especially if it was multiplayer.
