Sergeant Cortez is a space marine that plays the lead in both TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. In the latter, Cortez has multiple character models which are used during both the single-player campaign and multiplayer matches. These see him dress as one of Khallos' Henchmen, a doctor, and even a Time Assassin (one of the types of Time Splitters).
Following are his in game descriptions in both TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.
The TimeSplitters 2 bio reads:
An elite squad of space marines are spearheading the counterforce against the TimeSplitters. Sergeant Cortez is a battle hardened veteran who is proficient with all weapon types and can adapt to any combat conditions.
The TimeSplitters: Future Perfect bio reads:
Space Marine extraordinaire.
The TimeSplitters: Future Perfect bio, of Henchman Cortez, reads:
The man himself, looking sharp in his banana boots.
The TimeSplitters: Future Perfect bio, of Dr. Cortez, reads:
