...Absolutely love the music in the game? Especially the velvet room music.

Does Anybody Else...
It's been discussed before, but whatever. Yes, composer Shoji Meguro is very talented and I found the music in Persona 3 and Persona 4 to be incredible. Poem of Everyone's Souls is a pretty nice tune, but I wonder why they have the Velvet Room Blues in the Persona 3 ost and Velvet Room Electronica in the Persona 4 ost when those songs are not even in the game. Probably because they wanted to fit them in somewhere in the games.
That is all.
Yeah, it's great. Both Persona 3 and 4.
I remember looking at X-Play's review of FES, and seeing that they described the music as embarrassingly bad or something.
...What?
I love all the music except the Velvet Room. It gets on my nerves so much, I turn the volume down when fusing.
I love every single song on the P3, P3:FES, and P4 soundtracks....with 2 exceptions.
1). The Velvet Room music. I use to like it, but it is nearly the only song I ever got sick of hearing.
2). Omen from P4. Plays near the end of the game (ER hasn't gotten there yet) It is the single most annoying piece of score in the entire game. It does what I think it intended to do (make you feel uneasy and like there a bad vibe in the air), but I think it pulls it off TOO well. The track is also the only one I find completely unlistenable to outside of the game.
Totally agree with this one. It fits it exceptionally well in the game, but it's not a song that I can listen to outside of it. I feel kind of uncomfortable when I listen to it, actually."2). " http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b07ZIP8xCksI bet that is awesome to play on Audiosurf.
That is all. "
Nice, I remember seeing this awhile back, already have it downloaded. :)" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b07ZIP8xCks

Also, it seems alot of people actually don't like The Genesis, while I think it is an awesome piece.
Edit: What is better, in your opinion, the ending song of P4 or P3, I forgot what P3's was called :P.
There are a couple of songs that end up grating on a person's nerves after a while though.
That's actually a fan mix. This is the original version:" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b07ZIP8xCks

Dur. But the mix made it just a little more awesome.
Meguro composed a new soundtrack for the PSP Persona rerelease. I'm glad that the game is getting a 2-disc soundtrack included in the first run, though I've met my share of obnoxious fanboys online that won't stop complaining about how the original Persona soundtrack was so much better than the new one.
" I've met my share of obnoxious fanboys online that won't stop complaining about how the original Persona soundtrack was so much better than the new one. "It was though. Apparently the new version is going to even be missing a lot of music, since the two CD set certainly wasn't a complete soundtrack. (where's the Snow Queen theme?)
The new music though has a one up on the old in the mastering regard -- it no longer has that "spacy" sound a lot of old CD-based audio has, even though a lot of people like that (myself included).
" @Hailinel said:That's true. I just wish that fewer people could state their feelings on why the original Persona soundtrack is better than the revised version without resorting to internet rage. Personally, I like that the soundtrack is getting redone to fit more thematically with the music styles in P3 and P4, though I can understand why others don't feel the same way. Then again, my attachment to the original Persona is not that great since I never had much of a chance to play it back in the PS1 days." I know, I just want to tell those fanboys six words.
"Mark danced crazy!"
And... "Snow Queen Quest"
I'm not going to bitch about the new soundtrack until I see how it fits in the game, I think Meguro's earned that much trust.
I loves all the dungeon music in P4; Sauna, Striptease and (The Dungeon after Heaven) are completely awesome tracks.
I liked all the music in Persona 4, save for the Velvet Room theme. Actually, before I even started up the game I went and listened to all the songs on the Soundtack that came with it and that was the one song that I was saying, "Alright, enough already!" before it was finished. I thought it would be my favorite song of the whole track because it's very pretty, but by the halfway point you kinda get sick of it. It just goes on too long, even outside the infinite looping of the track in the Velvet room.
Suana and Striptease are probably my favorite songs, plus the one that plays during most battles. =) Though most of the dungeons had good music, even Naoto's (which was completely unfitting for her dungeon setting, but still nice to listen to).
And lets not forget the best dungeon music of P4!
