I think the idea is the the riddler trophies were a lot more satisfying in Asylum. Personally i liked the actual riddles more than the puzzles too. Saying that adding frustrating and pointless button puzzles is improving a game is like saying that buying a coat at goodwill is awesome because sometimes you find receipts and used tissues in the pockets.

They still have the puzzles. In fact, they have way more puzzles. Then they have the classic hidden riddler trophies. And then they have lots of different riddler button puzzles. Whether you like them or not isn't the point, YOUR content is still there, as is a ton of new content. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. I liked them all quite a lot.

My ex-girlfriend gave me a bad case of blue ivy. That shit's the worst.

@Noct: You wouldn't have to have even amounts of tax ... you'd just work out the 8% and then round up to the nearest 5 cents.

I admit I also have a weird thing for Storage Wars. Total guilty pleasure. When I first saw the show, I was actually quite surprised, because a few years back there was an interesting episode of This American Life about people who tried to make a living buying delinquent storage lockers. I thought it was pretty weird at the time, so when I first noticed the A&E show, I couldn't not watch it.

I guess one disadvantage of playing Chrono Trigger so spread out is that you forget gameplay mecahnics that were already shown to you earlier in the game. If you think the LARA console is the only one you had to use that trick on so far, then you are sadly mistaken.

@RelentlessKnight: Listen closer...he said he heard that about the new Hitman game from previews people had been seeing and was asking Ryan if it was true.

@xbob42: Yeah I think Patrick was speaking mainly for himself. I imagine for journalists trying to get all the trophies may seem like a pain as they have so many other games to get through. But as a normal gamer I loved the added content, as I believe most normal consumers did. The way the game made you want to engage in meaningful combat, even after the game was over through the riddlers henchmen, was a really smart design decision. If you can make me want to obtain over 400 collectables and also designed the game so I don't need to look on the internet to find them all, you've done a great job.

Lol, who said I hate everything about Ryan and the endurance run? Anyways, I do hate how unobservant they can be sometimes. My original point though was that Ryan seems to think he would never have figured that part out (he seems to vaguely mention it in the latest podcast) but I'm willing to bet that if he played the game back in the day in a more condensed time frame that he would have remembered the mechanic from earlier in the game.

These podcasts are awesome, I actually like them talking about stuff other than video games because its hilarious.
