This was great, Ben stayed chill, and Dan is always the best when he's excited. really hope this is a regular feature in this upcoming season of giantbomb content.

"Win Ben Pack's Money" is a very good overall gimmick that could used in several GB features.

i was worried about this series coming into it because my favorite part of the mario maker streams was the making of the level. that having been said, this episode was really good and a lot of fun to watch! nice work to all involved.

@benpack You can spin jump off of Bowser Jr. If you do a spin jump to hit, you can immediately start bouncing on his shell when he ducks in and you won't take damage. If you get him near a wall you can just let go of the button even and it will eventually auto kill him.

This was super awesome. Really loved it. Great job with the editing.

Just finished watching and this is exactly the kind of series I like most. Similar energy to This is the Run, but the community aspect gives it a more special feeling. Great job to everyone who made these levels, there wasn't a single bad one from a viewer's perspective at least.

The TMNT dam level did give me flashbacks to my youth in a simultaneously good and bad way, that was very well done.

I'm my experience, many years of working in pharmacy, older doctors tend to be more set in their ways and less fun to deal with. That's my experience, anecdotally. I'd want a fresh-out-of-school doctor any day of the week; their curriculum is up to date and they haven't developed any prejudices or cynacisms about people or the work they're doing.

I think special guest Vinny had a good point. Everytime Ben hit the initial whirlpool thing after the checkpoint it seemed to be unavoidable spike death when it was travelling to the right. When the whirlpool was still moving left it seemed much safer. Nice job overall tho, great video.

@mittens: I understand the distinction you're drawing, but even though there's a range in the particular bullshit we're discussing, I'd say it's all from the same genetic pool. I don't think there's a functional difference in its effect on the episodes given the time frame in which we're working - it all leads to us seeing the same stuff over and over. (And while I'm sure there are Super Players who could beat these stages in one go, the Clear Rates don't support the "hey, these are relatively easy" idea.)

That said, I realize that any feature co-starring Dan is going to have its share of bullshit, so I can only ask that the bullshit be minimal. Minimal bullshit!

This is a certified banger.

The difference for me is that I don't necessarily view these levels as being bullshit; bullshit for me is unfair, shitty game design (like invisible blocks or pipes that lead to death). The levels that Dan makes (or used to make, it seems) are a good example.

I get how these levels (and the repetition they bring) may hurt the quality of the feature. But if the concept is "you get a month of Premium if you stump us", they can't remove levels that are just plain hard. Whether it would have a been better idea to just do a simple "we play community Mario levels" feature, now, that's a good question.

Also, @windmills: the 'tossed salad and scrambled eggs' reading distraction was a fantastic choice, as was the level in general (I lost it at 'Dog'.)

And if you must know, I appreciate how there's a slow descent through Frasier's coins. Personally, I interpreted it as a metaphor for how Frasier is - more often than not - the cause of his own problems; his own downfall, if you will. 'Pride goeth before the fall', as Dr. Crane can attest. The catching of the coins - and the monotonous 'ching' sound - on the way down, also invites questions of the value of material wealth. Is it worth the price of one's dignity? What is the true 'centrepiece' of our own living rooms? And does Frasier ever realise what to do with those tossed salads and scrambled eggs?

The mind boggles.

missed these somehow when they originally came out and since i've had a sinus headache n laid in bed the better part of the last few days i've started going n watching older entries i've missed. anyway this was great and my headache slowly started lessen while watching so i just wanted to say thanks for this.
