Master Chief isn't on an escape pod in the Halo 4 trailer. It's the back half of a FUCKIN' HUGE frigate, something that could easily carry a single warthog. Also, 343 has all but said outright that the Covenant is not a factor. You already finished that fight in Halo 3. The "Reclaimer" trilogy, as they are calling, is going to be primarily about the Forerunners, if the heavy-handed hinting is to be believed.

Am I the only on getting audio skipping around?

This podcast was the first time I've ever heard the air conditioning on in the background.

Rock of ages was nice, but it certainly needs a western developer. Time trial without ghosts, without reseting the game fast. The camera kinda sucks and there is way to little progression and stuff to upgrade. The maps/levels needs more places to put defensive measures, as it is now it is only in certain pots. So in some levels you can't really block anything... it really needs balancing. There are also intense AI issues where the AI will get stuck. Also a score mode with no time limit is just wrong. The game feels unfinished in many ways. But the core idea is very good :)

Little weird that they are talking about how they want Halo 4 to depart so much from Halo of old, yet the reason the guy left 343 was because it was just turning out to be another Halo game...
