I liked 13 Deadly Sims soooo much but I feel East is just way too much Sims stuff now.

More Sims?! What's going on? Why are we getting so much Sims content on Giant Bomb now? Even the newsletter was about The Sims...

Party of One, if this is a new ongoing thing, should probably be something the host would like to play.

I was kind of iffy with more Sims stuff, but if it's just Abby and not taking the time of 4 people then do whatever the heck you guys want.

I always support more content, but specifically more Sims content really rubs me the wrong way. Especially if this is supposed to be yet another ongoing series with it.

Abby breathes the Sims, and talks about it whenever she can. And hey, it's great she enjoys the series, but we've had full features, play-dates and multiple quick-looks for "stuff-packs" by now. Which, on this site, is borderline unbelievable as we very rarely get coverage of even substantial DLC or expansions.

It's just way, way, waaay too much. I'd take just about anything else over it at this point.

What about some more "Beast in the East" with Alex at the helm? We were always promised a follow-up and he clearly really loves those games, and Vinny seemed to appreciate the heck out of 0. With the latest remaster collection of 3, 4 and 5, this is the perfect time for it.

Or some more "XCOM: Exquisite Corps", featuring the second game at this point, with the incredible expansion. Vinny's only played vanilla XCOM 2. So he'd have fresh eyes on that content as well.

Or something brand new! So many fantastic games out there you could do fun stuff with.

Just anything but the Sims here, I ask thee kindly. But again, thanks for the content. I'm sure it'll be great. Just.. Yeah..

Hilarious stream

Reality Check on Sims content: There are only 18 Sims 4 videos on the site, including this, Deadly Sims, and Quick Looks of various content packs. Mass Alex spent 24 eps on just Mass Effect 2 alone. Y'all need to find your calm.

I want content the staff wants to do, whatever that is* =D

Edit: hope the above is clear that i don't think we're saturated in Sims content. My only complaint about Sims is I have now spent like $150 on Sims 4 stuff since abby started featuring it :)

I hope Vinny's solo show is Bloodborne I know he said he fell off it but that's cause he never got past Gerhrman there for all his time was spent in one area of course your going to get bored.

And I hope Alex doesn't do a solo show and instead starts the third part of Mass Alex.

The Bday Party Sims stream was the only Sims 4 Playdate I've ever done, the Sims Online is such a weird anomaly it almost doesn't even feel like the Sims to me, and we have literally never done a quick look for a stuff pack. You say "yet another ongoing series with [the Sims]" but Thirteen Deadly Sims was the only ongoing series of the Sims ever on the site, as far as I know. And that ended in 2018.

I appreciate you acknowledging that you're glad for more content because these streams are in no way a replacement of any of the content you listed. I'm glad you like those other features! I hope they happen, too! But me choosing to not do this Sims feature in no way impacts whether or not those streams and videos happen.

People often say that what they like about Giant Bomb is the personalities getting to play what they want. This is what I want to play! I've come up with plenty of non-Sims features like Mass Alex, Six Crazy Frights, Resident Evil playthroughs, etc. If Sims content isn't for you, I get that! I hope we have other content on the site that you enjoy! But please understand that this feature is only in addition to that other content, not instead of it.

I don't want to have a big argument here, but people seem to forget that we had tons of Hitman content for a few years. We've had two Mario Maker features, and lots of soulslike stuff. How many times has Brad played some variation of Quake or Doom? Hell, Vinny literally just replayed Bladerunner after doing a separate (albeit unfinished) playthrough of the same game a few years back.

I like seeing the crew play stuff they're interested in. Not everything is for me, and sometimes I need a break, but I get upset when people say this site is going down the toilet because of perceived trends.

Abby playing The Sims is genuinely some of the most spontaneously hilarious content on this site, period. I'm so excited for this feature.

@rufflemyridges: hmm good question! There are some rules about what occult sims you can and can’t have babies with. 🤔 I’ll look into it!

I played The Sims (1) when it first came out, and I loved it - but I kinda fell off after Sims 2. @ybbaaabby's streams have reignited my love for the series, and I'm basically all in again. 4 has some issues (basically - it's kinda shallow gameplay-wise imho) but it keeps improving. The community around the Sims is so friendly and relaxed - and I love it. Keep up the great work!

The crew playing games they're passionate about will always be the best content on the site.

I came to say I love this content and looking forward to all the babies! Thank you Abby for bringing the different kind of spice to the website lol. I hope they are named after food ingredients or random fruits.

kinda dark question but I'm wondering: Can the kids die? I'm still watching and Abby just mentioned that she has yet to handle an army of children at once. If one dies, would that subtract from the count?

I don't play the Sims but I love watching Abby make fun series out of it :) Thirteen Deadly Sims was one of the best features on the site imo and the birthday stream was absolutely hilarious. I have a friend who loves the Sims so I'll get her to make a character for this feature too!

I'm having trouble with the video. When I try to play it, it keeps acting like it's loading a live video that is over. I got the title screen up once and as soon as I tried to Chromecast it, it went back to the finished live stream. I want to see some dang baby makin'.

@lucifunk: Sorry, we had some issues with the encoding in our backend. It should be watchable now with the trimmed ends, and it should be downloadable very shortly.
