@mdmac92: No, he complained that they are crappy, and he's right. They are an obvious late development tack on that's horribly realized and cookie cutter as hell. The game is great, but the whole medal system is very half-baked.

Just a quick thought--

Kingdoms of Amalur was one heck of a game. In some ways i enjoyed it more than Skyrim. The story is deep and the world is interesting. The combat is really engaging and its got one of those loot systems that keeps you going for the next piece of gear.

It really is a shame that is was the victim of bad business because the artistic vision of the universe they were creating was seriously inspired.

If you have PS+ and a couple hours, just try it out. It may not do anything for you, but its definitely worth a look.

I'm glad we got this podcast. More Giantbomb is never a bad thing. Plus I'm glad to see the discussions from a different perspective. This podcast is less about the shenanigans and more about game discussion and I love that. Creates a nice balance.

@ajroo: Does anyone know if the audio glitching is fixed? I bought Reckoning for PS3 and the audio was so bad it was unplayable. Tons of delays, leveling issues, missing sounds. Doing an action and hearing it 2 seconds later really throws you off, not to mention having one part of a conversation screamed at you while the other part is inaudbile really takes you out of the world.

@andheez: You know, i never had issues with the audio....or anything else. The game has always run perfectly for me. Thats some strange stuff you got going on there. Im not even sure how you would fix something like that. If i come across anything ill holla, though.
