@kaiserreich: Well it is called "Breaking Brad" so unlike "Load our Last Souls" the point of the series is for Brad to get frustrated at games that pummel the crap out of him. That's inevitably going to sound complain-y.

The whole "I'm not a wizard" thing is one of the best things about this run.

Brad's run has inspired me to try Demon's Souls again, and I've now played more than I ever have. Today I started, played through to the first boss, beat him, then got up the to boss at the end of 2-1, who promptly kicked my ass. I'll be playing more tomorrow tho for sure.

I was so happy when he kept getting sadder the more he said it, wonderful.

Good god Brad, until you have a weapon that is undoubtedly better than that Falchion, stick with it. And use Soul Ray when you want some distance!

You're not playing bad, you just keep forgetting how effective those are right now.

Oh and...don't assume the game will give you leniency when it comes to ledges, it's so nerve-wracking to watch you barely avoid falling off and dying or landing in the middle of a big group of enemies.

I Wouldnt call the Reaper grinding, its more like free souls. 2 arrows to the reaper face...kill knight (no pure bladestone ofcoarse, and roll off cliff to my death, repeat.

Valley of Defilement is such a dignified area...

I think its safe to say that Potato Marshal guy is a dick.

I find it kinda funny Brad says something along the lines of "It would be such a prestige thing if Sony had an exclusive Souls game" because Sony does...Demon's Souls.

Great series... Watching Brad make excuses and constantly complain is pretty funny... When he does good he's actually kicking some ass, but then there's the other 95% of the time... Great game... Easily in my top 3 PS3 games.

so i don't think this looks as good as dark souls so far, the level design just seems inconsistent and kind of thrown together in comparison, and there's a lot more lulls than there is the feeling of tension. having said that, it's amazing that this game came to be, it does so many new and exciting things, this will definitely be looked back on as one of the most influential games ever made

I never play these Souls games online anymore. I did initially but then I got invaded about 10 times in a row one evening and got completely sick of it

With the memory of a goldfish, vision of a genome soldier from MGS and the hearing of a 60 year old DJ nothing can stop Brad!

man fuck these invaders wtf , if it's not a scraping spear it's a plague dagger and if they dont use a cheesy weapon they spam healing items , this is exacly why i stay the fuck away from souls pvp

Late to the party, but yeah this is the world that taught me that its not always a good idea to lock on to enemies. It can put your camera in some shitty positions in this place.

Brad gets "salty" in this one.

I love how excited Brad gets over nailing a bunch of crystal lizards in this episode. I was cheering him on. It's the feel good ep of the run so far!

Playing the Valley of Defilement too go figure.
