I'm not at all surprised by what Jeff said about the game, though I suspect he will sadly get a lot of fanboi stick across the Internet for daring to say what many have thought about this series for a while now.

Hey man, Call of Duty 3 was great, minus the connection issues and easily exploited glitches. That game had fantastic maps. I'll take that over the shit that is BLOPS any day.

This video was amazing.

The thought of something having more explosions in it than Bad Boys 2 just seems blasphemous.

Excellent review Jeff and the editing was equally fantastic. While this CoD will go on to sell a million billion copies and all the haters are gonna hate, they do produce a quality game even if it was made by a whole heap of devs and different studios. I just wonder how much longer they can keep making pretty much the same game over and over. I've played every single CoD game (excluding the PS2 ones) and for me, I just now find the whole experience has become pretty dull. CoD4 was a game changer and changed a lot for modern shooters but they've stuck so close to that blueprint for a good 4 years now I find it difficult to keep going back in year after year. I'll be interested to see how this sells as I know a few of my friends have grown fatigued over the CoD games but will continue to play them because they want to play a game online with their friends and it's what everyone is playing.

Nice review. This and Battlefield had been on my radar, but not on my must buy list, and I think they're going to stay on the "buy when cheap" list if it at all. I'm done at this point until we get another FPS overhaul.

terrible review. why is jeff such a hater? nah, just kiddin'. jeff keeps it real. like, mo' realer than the most realest ever. also, EXPLOSION! i also like how he made reference to his mw2 review about shooting down UVA's, for some reason i still remember that.

Many before me have said it, but this was a quality video review.

I usually roll my eyes at these a little preferring the Quick Look, but this was both informative and entertaining, top stuff.

That was definitely the most entertaining Video Review yet.

The problem with the "modern military shooters are getting old" remark is that it assumes the reader is familiar with modern military shooters. What if you haven't played a modern military shooter in this current generation? Or if you have never played a Call of Duty game before?

I have very little interest in Call of Duty anymore, but that was a fantastic Video Review.

I feel then that individual is in the minority and these views cater to the majority. Frankly, it's a trivial matter considering military shooters are everywhere and if you play games then you have in one sense or another have been exposed to issues, videos, even small chatter that circulate around these games.

If I could rent this game for a week, I'd definitely do that, but seeing as that option isn't really viable, I probably won't be playing this one.

Very fun video review. Great overview of the game and one hell of an editing job! I'm way into the explosion and kill montages. I was close to giving CoD another shot with the release of Black Ops but got distracted by BFBC2 and this almost makes me want to check out the glorious C4 dogs but, alas, the end of the year has me very well occupied with other fun stuff yet again.

Will Smith is in this game? SOLD!
