King Kong was excellent on the original Xbox - it's a bit of a bummer to hear the crew a bit dismissive of it so quickly.

The OG Xbox definitely punched above its weight at the time; I played both Half Life 2 and King Kong on it before I had an Xbox 360. The fact that either were even playable was pretty amazing.

(edit: and now after seeing the Evil Dead demo get panned... despite being entertaining, I kinda wish they could play a single demo on these videos without saying the phrase "this... doesn't seem... good" edit2: sorry, my last statement is pretty hyperbolic. :-| )

Small Soldiers did have a pretty fun multiplayer mode AT THE TIME.

@quarters: It works for me, You have to press Try Beta on the bottom of the video player at first it said install flash so I tried a different video and was able to watch this video on PS4.

Yeah, that's a hilarious project.

The crew were as usual great but this demo disc... not so much. That might be the weakest of all the demo discs the have played so far. There was barely any demos on it and a bunch of the videos didn't even have anything to do with gaming.

Still Jeff, Drew and Dan still managed to make it entertaining.

Yeaaaa Slednecks shoutout. Remember watching those when I was little. Something about a drunk guy in a costume falling down some stairs and putting a dummy over a cliff on a sled. Quality entertainment.

Man King Kong shows you what happens if people don't have huds or objective markers. New games are incredibly handholding experiences these days.

Amped 3's story is one of the most bizarre and incredible things I've seen a developer make. I adore it.

The special edition PS3 version of Stranglehold came packaged with Hard Boiled.

as for that trailer woah . . . haven't seen that in quite some time.

If you can find clips of the PSI OPS / STRANGLEHOLD prototype

that is what the game most likely looked like at this point.

Once up in UE3 the real gameplay sizzle clips started showing up but that was much later in development.

I thought the games in here were garbage but I enjoyed the ski videos. More of those please.
