man in terms of looking back on 2000 era video games the OXM demo discs are okay but they do not match the sheer, like, earnestness of ps1 demo discs. the je ne sais quois of a ps1 demo disc

The new video player doesn't seem to have any visual buttons for me. I can see what they would be by hovering over the area and they seem like great video player options though.

Here is my recollection of the story of condemend as to why the hobos are killing people: the illuminati, or some dark cult, are using fragments of metal to bounce sound waves that drive people insane but also kill birds.

@danryckert Ash vs. The Evil Dead released last year and is ongoing. In fact the second season just began. From what I've seen of it, it's very very good. Critical reception has been positive too.

It's asking me to install Flash to play the video and cant change any of the settings, what is going on?

These Xbox demo discs are boring with the majority just being ads. I miss the Playstation Truck.

I kinda liked the old Fantastic 4 movies. they were cheesy and fun.

I like Peter Jackson's King Kong the game and the movie a whole lot. Both have obvious flaws, but I love the mood and atmosphere in both.

New player doesn't work on xbox either. This is a huge bummer.

Huh, turns out that voice in BF2 Modern Combat totally is Dale Dye. Cool.

On another note, I'm sort of sceptical that this demo disk is representative of the mid 00's since it has no traces of Alien Ant Farm on it.

I remember playing the King Kong vs T-rex demo. I was genuinely impressed, specifically by that fight. It truly provided me with a sense of power and immersion that I just did not expect.

I like the snowboarding videos. They are pretty great. I'm going to try to watch tangerine dream somewhere.

I'm having some strong deja vu from Drew playing Serious Sam. Is there some other instance of Drew playing Serious Sam and trying to hit a parrot?

Seeing that Dark Sector stuff was nuts. I'm surprised of just how much Warframe retained. I know it's basically been their baby for years but wow. Even the ship, boss and location design are all still in there and some newer lore stuff is in there. It looks like Trinity is in there too. I wonder what that original game would've been if D3 had let DE make it instead of having them turn it into a Gears clone.

Seems a lot of Demo Derbys have come out on weekends, so it was great to see this one pop up for me last night/this morning. Stuff like this video coming out today, along with the stuff on this actual disc made available in 2005, shows that we can all still have fun and enjoy things together in these tumultuous times.

Speaking of tumultuous, I don't think those Fantastic Four movies starring Chris Evans and company (they made two of them) are officially available through regular retailers anymore, as I heard something about Fox pulling them so as not to draw attention away from the one released last year (which fared worse).

Yay Demo Derby is back! One of my favorite Premium features.

On that first King Kong segment I think you're supposed to shoot the flying dinosaurs so then T-Rex can eat them and be distracted.

Also, someone should do a modern shooting game with that hotswap mechanic from Battlefield 2. With the exact same camera movement.

Changing tech to something Flash-based in 2016?!
