Man I should really play Tomba 2 sometime, though the soundtrack seems not that great. First Tomba was a pretty fun 2D platformer, but obviously not completely done. If I remember right there were quests and items that lead nowhere.
Also agree with Jeff that Klonoa still holds up very well. Klonoa 2 is a good game as well, but it's no Door to Phantomile.

I'm also excited for Tekken 7

It makes perfect sense for Dan, who was always the least informed of the people on this feature, to be replaced with Ben, who is the rookie and has much less experience in the biz.

Now Ben just needs to say that he thinks he remembers this game from his time at FuncoLand and the replacement is complete.

I haven't started watching yet, but i know Ben is perfect for this feature.

Disney's Tarzan is not a terrible platformer, surprisingly. Some of those later levels are a pain though.

The Art Legend game is Art Camion Geijutsuden. I thought it might have been released on PSN as part of the PSOne Import program Sony had going a few years back, but it seems that was actually Art Camion Sugorokuden which is a board game based on the same Japanese pimped out truck racing scene.

Ben is a great addition to Giant Bomb and Demo Derby. His laugh is infectious! Also hi Maggie. Nobody knows who you are since Dan and Drew have moved on from Demo Derby.

Oh god, that football sequence almost killed me.

That robot controller was genuinely cool, especially the part in which you control body parts. Also neat you see a robot having weight for once, most of the name all these gundam games have robots that seem to be made out of featherweight material.

It took me a lot of searching but I found out that truck racing game came out under the name Art Camion Geijutsuden. I am defo going to download it and see how it is because it looks pretty cool.

My love for Tomb Raider on PSX starts and stops with the first one. The controls were good for what the game asked you to do. But each sequel just kept asking more from the player with the some new control features strapped on without adjusting any of the old ones, by the third one Tomb Raider was CLUNKY.

Holy fuck, the New Radicals... I haven't thought about that band in twenty years, and for very good reason.

8 hour all night work shift? judging by the "semester" mentioned i'd have to say the real world is soon to hit you with a genuine all night, all day, all life-consuming work shift. glad you were able to enjoy this rough one with some GB company tho. [{8>)

Tomba is Great!

Yeah, I played a LOT of The Bouncer back then and I'm not sure if that says more about the state of the PS2 launch or the state of my life at the time, but I really enjoyed that game. That said, I remember it being fairly difficult and it was also very New Game+ oriented, and a lot of the cooler moves were pretty hard to earn enough XP for in a single run. I'm not sure the way GB covers games would get to the best stuff about The Bouncer unless the gameplay just really clicked with whoever took the reigns for the play.
