Dynasty Warriors: Still Making These

I've been playing since DW2 and I can't for the life of me break this habit

This and rayman are my 2 launch games and I can't explain why

It almost sounds like it was a game they knew they were making and blew past in a meeting.

"What games are we doing?"

"Another Dynasty Warriors."

"Okay. Dynasty Warriors, Next?"

And then some intern wrote it down by mistake and a title was born.

Next is what I always say after any Dynasty Warriors game after playing that one 5 minute demo on the ps2 at some gamestop. Just still wondering what people see in the neverending sequels to these as they rarely change enough to justify getting the new ones unless it's something like this where it's a new platform.

I seem to be in the mood for dynasty warriors again. I've found the portable ones are more enjoyable than the console games.

Y'know guys, they should totally just merge Dynasty Warriors and Kessen, right?

This honestly looks way less good to me than the Samurai Warriors game for the 3DS, and that game wasn't much to write home about either.

Xiahou Dun is always the one to run with. His story is awesome! I can't wait to play this on the Vita.

Dynasty warriors is a franchise with a great premise but just rote and bored execution.

Just to see all the crazy, I would play this game. It's probably the only thing that could get me to pick up another "Warriors" game since DW2 to be honest. However, Koei is one for historical accuracy (not in terms of combat here, but in terms of setting) - there's no one American war that featured all these generals at the same time. It's not like with China, where the Romance of the Three Kingdoms era actually featured all these generals at once. They'd have to toss believability out the window - shocking, I know - and just plain introduce time travel. So, hopefully, we'd get Abe Lincoln going back in time to murder the British, or George Washington coming to the future to ...I dunno, save Custard from "the Injuns"? There's not a lot to pull from that took place on US soil, relatively.

I would love to see the crazy though :)

It's been done many times in films and gaming. Red Cliff altered a lot of the story and I'd say the original is much more manly and badass. Still wish there was a proper awesome action game.

I've got nostalgia for Dynasty warriors but I'll freely admit they're pretty terrible.

I am shocked Jeff played this and completed an entire mission.

God.... someone please teach the Japanese the principles of ambiance and mood setting.. I mean seriously you have an ancient Chinese sorta thingy kind of deal, shitty metal/electronic or whatever BS music that is is not the way to go.......
