Too bad Case Zero is 360 only... wish I could play it on my PS3.

I really dislike the fact that Dead Rising 2 is geared more towards the zombie mayhem. I bought DR1 for zombie killing action but found out after couple of minutes I found that it was really boring and repetitive. Taking photos, missions and rescuing people was fun though and those things made me like the game.

Case zero seems like an exscuse to sell a demo to me.

Hmm... a new 3 slot save system looks to be a strange compromise.   It'll make it better, but won't solve the difficulty problems necessarily.  I guess we'll just have to accept that Dead Rising isn't a game you can 100% on the first run, or most likely 100% with any ease.
 
However the guy also hinted at some sort of chapter system - i.e., the ability to select chapter 3 or 4 and replay from that point and complete all the sidequests there.  THAT would be a big help.  I think the biggest problem wasn't just the save system / time system, it was having to restart the entire game to go back and play some earlier or later part.  Chapter selection and 3 slot save would fix a lot of that while still maintaining DR's ideas.

Please let there be co-op combo weapons!

This game looks awesome, I'm excited for it. Hopefully you can unlock the mega blaster again.

I absolutely loved the original and this looks like more of the same which is a good thing. I feared that because the original is so old that this sequel would change too much and not feel like DR anymore but everything from the combat, the environments, the costume changes and even the 72 hour limit is in there.  I know not everyone will be a fan but I will love it and it will be my first day one purchase in a long time.

Never before have I seen a game presented by someone so disinterested and apathetic about their own product.  This guy is the polar opposite to Randy Pitchford.  Good lord.  =|
 
Is it just me or does he first say DR0 has 1 hour of game play and then a few seconds later says 4 hours of gameplay? 

Good interview.  I like that they've got coop in there, that could be a lot of fun.
