Old Games: Encyclopedia Bombastica: Law of the West

I think I watched this three times at work and now I'm watching it again at home.

I'm having some weird deja vu-ish memories about this game...but I'm not sure I ever played it. I've also never used a C64...hmm. Cool looking game though for back then!

Vinny's Nortena accent is more a Yardie/Schwartzeneggar mash-up.

Funny how the point of the lack of interactivity about not being able to shoot the barrels, but this has lots more choice in narrative branches and how much of the game can change via them than most non-indie games now.

You could shoot the obnoxious kids in the non-UK versions of Fallout 1 and 2, though.

As for Mass Effect Zero's, I'd think Starflight deserves a Bombastica too.

It was available on other platforms as well, but you may also remember one of the Sleeping Dogs DLC Quicklooks, the Halloween one which kept glitching, so they started playing this instead in the middle of it, talking about how it was the original Mass Effect and doing a Renegade run through it.

One of the best episodes of the Bombastica- love the character arc of Jeff's first sheriff.

Man, I missed out when I was a kid. I am all for a remake of this.

I like this format a lot more than the webcam picture-in-picture setup. I don't think seeing the speaker's face at all times really buys you anything. Either way, awesome Bombastica episode.
