You fight King Tut and Rapa Nui statues because ANCIENT ALIENS.

Bombasticas are my favourite.

Pretty refreshing to see Alex play games and taco bout them.

Today I realize, Alex has a great taste in music. Metz rules.

This was my go to game when I was a kid (and the thing I stole my nom de internet from). So awesome to see someone else play it.

Also, re: the weird bio levels,I kinda just thought you were flying through a living planet for... whatever reason, i didn't get that far as a five year old.

Ah, Life Force. Decent game, but I'll always remember it as the game that introduced me to the Konami code. Here's to you, anonymous guy who scribbled the code onto the photocopied manual from the video rental place!

The Wii Shop is still operating in Wii Mode on the Wii U (that's a lot of Wiis in one sentence), so it should still be possible to buy Life Force on it.

The first game i became obsessed with. I asked for Top Gun and got this instead. Grandma made a good choice. I think I might just dust off the NES.

You can activate ship SPEED multiple times and the game gets considerably easier after charging it up 3 or 4 times.

Konami used to be the shit. Gradius/Life Force, Contra/Super C, Castlevania 1/3 (2 may have been ahead of it's time in some ways but fuck that game.) Ahh the NES was chock full of good times.

This was my second game ever. First one was the first Super Mario game that came with the Nes. This brings back memories!

I love Bombastica's, but I really wish Jeff would start doing them again. Those are the absolute best.
