Endurance Run: Deadly Premonition: Part BR-20

EDIT - Panda Bear is the store? WTF? As if WTF is even a valid comment anymore regarding this game. It's nuts.

Based on the descriptions for both ERs, looks like we have a creepy wall lady double feature today.

LOL at BR still not understanding how the enemy works when most people figured it out in 30 sec.  Wait till shes visible, shoot her run 10 feet, wait till visible again, then evade.  Rinse and repeat.  If she's red run or shoot her, crouching on her? melee? lawls

So I didn't want to watch Brad die over and over so I skipped ahead ten minutes through that wall crawler fighter and he was still fighting them, oh Brad.

Brad going on with only his bare hands against creepy lady was one of the most hilarious moments in all my life. And Ryan reaction was legendary.

omg you guys, wtf would you change to the knife when she is charging you, THE SHOTGUN IS STRONGER!!!!

Apart from the usual Bradness, if I were playing the game I'd want to get my hands on the dude who designed such a tedious fucking enemy and such a horrible corridor. Seriously.

It actually looks pretty badass when Brad strolls up to the wall crawler and knifes her while she's powering up :P

I could not stop laughing when Brad switched to a knife from a shotgun when the wallcrawler shifted to the side-wall from the ceiling.

I instantly get uncomfortable watching BR, it's just so..ugh! Maybe once they get the infinate ammo i'll let some stuff slide but still
 
Why can't they just use the shotgun when she is on the wall?

There has to be a faster way to kill this broad.

god im starting to like team VJ alot better lol just cuz the fact they have infinite ammo and i new car!!! trust me those to things make this game alot better to watch lol!!!

The game isn't helping but they aren't helping themselves either.  The game is pushing it's own bad quality beyond what makes it lovable and the boys are not thinking straight at all.

BOOOOOSH.

As someone who has played through the entire game, the tediousness of the wall crawler is based on the way Brad is playing the game. Yes, the designers could have made the wall crawler a little weaker, but it only takes four-to-six shots (if I'm not mistaken) with the right weapon, or a few whacks with a strong melee weapon, to take those annoying ladies down.
 
Who threw out his two golf clubs instead of the mission knife during the last quick look? I don't think the game did it.  Who had to fight the first wall crawler with a melee weapon (thus thinking he had to fight EVERY wall crawler in the same way) because he used all of his ammo on the obvious infinitely spawning backyard enemies? I don't think Swery grabbed the controller from Brad and did that.
 
Yes, the game has some wicked flaws, but player error can't be ignored in this situation. I'm just glad that Ryan finally called out Brad for stupidly dying, instead of letting him blame it on the game. You could tell he wanted to rip the controller from Brad's hands after the first death.
 
Regardless, it's still fun to watch and I look forward to more. I hope they can stay positive through to the end, as the game doesn't get any easier with "boss" fights.
 
Sorry for the long-winded rant!

I'm so glad I have the Wesley Special for these crawlers. That infinite flamethrower sucks on normal enemies, but it only took me about an hour to get and owns these hoes.

DAMMIT, SHOEMAKER!

If I ever see them pull out a Mission Knife again, I'm never watching another BR because the future medical bills from all the blood pressure is not worth it.

Don't bring a knife to a gun fight. Why the hell would you use a knife instead of the gun? Makes no sense.

Cracks in Team BR are beginning to show! 
 
What game was Jeff talking about on the Bombcast where he said the only way to win is by not playing? Deadly Premonition might march under that banner, too.

How is Brad so constantly surprised by things that have happened for the past 7 hours? 
Nor patterns from 30sec ago... yes it is dead, obviously unlike every other time you thought it was dead but instead it just dropped and shot a purple ball of zombie gunk that you couldn't dodge it is totally dead now... well done

I think people are being harsh now. 
 
It worked, so what's the problem? Is it the most efficient way of fighting them? No. But you're never going to find efficiency in an Endurance Run, and you'll never find somebody playing exactly how you yourself would either so don't get too stressed over watching someone else play.
 
They did use the gun, but they didn't want to run out of bullets again, so they alternated. Took a while? Yeah. Best way of doing it? No. But it worked, and this was TONS better than last time they fought one of these. 
 
Improvements are good - so good job Brad and Ryan.
 
I'm not saying it was flawless or that it couldn't be improved or that the death should have happened. But everybody plays games with different strategies. If they're getting through it, using a different strategy isn't a problem.
 
Besides, at least if they're playing in a way that you wouldn't, you get to see what happens if somebody plays a different way.
 
Can't wait til we're away from zombie segments though, I must say! I much prefer the quirky character stuff.

If only they had some sort of infinite ammo smg...

I love Deadly Premonition (go ahead and call me crazy) but those ceiling ladies are absolutely the worst part about the game and I don't blame Brad for getting frustrated and making mistakes during those sections. The good news is there aren't too many of these to fight in the game.

Did Brad just call agent York a retard? 

At this point, I think BR should just stop. They're both great dudes and gave it their best shot, but there was very little entertainment value to this game to begin with, and whatever was left is being sucked away by Brad and Ryan's noticeable frustration and anger. I'm sure I've said this before, but it reminds me of the last few seasons of Whose Line is it Anyway when all of the comics were just angry, bitter and sick of the whole thing.
