EDIT: Wonder if Vinny finds out you only need to press Y to look at the notebook. Also, waiting around for places to open/events to occur at certain times in the early game is the worst part of Shenmue for me but it goes away for the most part later in the game.

I think the fact that Dan is asking questions that the other guys cannot easily answer is a sign that he's broadening his horizons and developing as a person. Good job Dan.

Vinny still hasn't got used to the whole press trigger to zoom on things stuff, would of helped in keeping mental note of locations.

I haven't even played this game and know their sense of direction is god awful.

I was worried this game would be boring for an ER, but they are making it pretty entertaining.

I don't think Ine is his mom, you guys. Most likely the housekeeper, considering Ryo uses -san after her name instead of calling her "mom" or "mother".

So are the bars they are looking for just not on the map or am I missing something?

My entire knowledge of Shenmue is "There are QTEs".

With that said, this is a fascinating view into a series I've never experienced.

Rough episode. Yikes.

They walked past it several times and I almost screamed at the screen haha. But I can't blame them it is hard to find the first time you play.

The wooden, stilted, and empty dialogue is starting to get to me. I am kind of glad I never got around to playing this back in the day. Not a lot going on.

I respect the ambition of this game. It was way ahead of its time, but the execution is kind of off. Why have a million peripheral activities and things to look at, if the core game is just so so.

As someone who has never played this game I'm actually fairly in to it.

Dan lives his life by the rule that it's better to ask a question about a thing you don't understand and look foolish than to not ask and stay foolish. I can't not respect that.

Watching them play darts is giving me Deadly Premonition flashbacks. I wonder what one is harder to play.

I love them, but God I hope they didn't spend the rest of the videos talking about infrastructure and other things while ignoring the game like on UPF.
